IsIs Playerauctions a good way to sell/buy gold.

Hello Guys, i was looking at starting a gold buying/selling buisness just to make a bit more money/ some extra gp on runescape to play around with.

    These are my questions:

does Playerauctions have big fees when you are selling 10-100m?

What would be the average fees i would be looking at each sale?

Is player auctions profitable to be selling with ( I would rather PA then Paypal)

and just a general question, What would be the amount of money i would need to start a small buisness?

If someone could take the time out to answer these questions it would mean alot to me, cheers :)

    1) Not so much big fees, but they do have noticeable fees when you start getting up to the 75m+ mark. For example $30 may get you 50M at 0.6/mil, but after fees you'd only get like 42M Because of the $5 fee for example. (Not sure of exact cost because it varies per amount you're spending).

2)The average fee for you = $0. The fees are ALL on the buyer. He/She will just have to buy less gold.

3)If you're talking about a gold business.. $10 at most to rent ad space if you wanted or to buy cool graphic ads from the forums. You don't need money because you have the gold to sell. Now if you're buying low/selling high.. I'd start with like 1b which is roughly $600 if you're buying low and selling high for $0.8c for $800

Basically ignore all of this post.

The fees are MOST noticeable at smaller sales because of the stationary base fee. On top of the stationary base fee the percentage they take from your disbursement is the same among all order quantities.

No clue what he means by the average fee is $0 for sellers. As a seller i'm sure you're aware of the massive cut they take from your disbursement. Something like 10% + $1.99 (stationary base fee), not exactly sure though. On top of that if you fail to do an order within your given guaranteed delivery time you may have to pay a fee to player auctions. When I wasn't able to complete a 1B order I was charged a $40 fee I believe, for not being able to deliver on time.

$10 for ad space? Definitely not here on Sythe anyway; if you want to rent ad space on Sythe be prepared to pay a lot more than $10.

when you use player auctions how do you recieve your payment? Paypal? If so do you have to pay the 3%+30 cents still?
