I just felt particularly empowered posting that video because I have my Dream Theater shirt on, haha.

Personally I listen to mostly classical, jazz and progressive rock and metal, and dubstep kind of gives me a headache.

Dubstep is ok, and everything is better live of course, but it doesn't deserve the recognition it gets. You come in here bragging about being able to see some guy who makes music that takes very little artistic talent to produce.

 

I wasnt bragging, i was just describing my night. and It does take talent, hence why it sounds good to a lot of people, producing it would be even harder.

 

fact of the matter is concerts are fun period, i'm have to re-activate my old myspace to get my photos back.

 

I'm going to a show on the 26th. I can't fucking wait.

 

Not a huge fan of dubstep, but I wouldn't have minded to see them live.

 

Meh. People seem to know so little about Dubstep, that they think that Skrillex is the epitome of it, however there are so many variations possible.

I still prefer instruments, though, and not having all of this autotuning and stuff around.

i dont even like skrillex apart from his song reptile but i can image how fucking fun it would be at a live show of his.

Skrillex has like 3 good songs, everything else of his is horrid, imo at least.


If you had fun though, thats what matters.

 

Marilyn Manson also has fucking weird lyrics with weird meanings and is generally a freak.

I dont want to debate what is good about Skrillex and his music, or even dubstep, The gig and the atmosphere there was amazing.
