Old account I own, attempting to recover.

    Hey sythe,

I made an account quite a while ago (early last year ish?), this account was the first actual legit account I tried to create and with huge success.

The account was hacked off me sometime mid last year and I pretty much gave up on runescape until now.

I'm having alot of trouble recovering it as I quite literally cannot remember many of the details. It's a bit of a joke, seeing as i'm trying to recover from my IP. On-top of that, my IRL nickname being Flog and the RSN has that in it, and some douche kid is playing on it.

Can anybody offer any tips or anything? I won't be that cut if I don't get it back, but apparantly the kid got it turmoil, 80+ dung etc, if I can get that back and keep it it would save me alot of training on a new acc.

    Cheers guys.

Not sure if this is allowed here?

If you are the legit owner, give all previous account information prior to getting it stolen. Just fill in as much as you can.
    CC membership information
    Old passwords
    ISP

Just provide as much detais as you can remember, add anything you know about the account and since you made the account off the ip you are using you shouldn't have a problem getting it back.

You should be able to get it if you created the account it is made so that people who created can get there account back can. If you can't try emailing them. Plus hopefully he trained/put gold on the account.

Would e-mailing them actually have any results?

I have attempted recovery about 7-8 times now with no result. Which is bullshit, I honestly don't understand how I can't even get my own account back.

What Jagex is looking for is the earliest information such as creation date, ISP, first pw, earliest membership.

You should be able to recover it, try to fill out more information, old friendlist, IP, location, name might help..

Usually when I recover an account, it always worked when I provided the following information.

-Payment history (paypal invoices, credit card payments at what time etc)
    -Old recoveries
    -Old email
-First password and 2 other early passwords used
-IP created on, and when it was created
    -My full name

You need all of this basicly, also if it was really your account, you should have no problem recovering it if your house (Where your recovering it from) was the origional I.P of an account.

I got a R.A.T on my computer, and an acc i had given to my friend was taken by the person, and my friend tryed so many times to recover it and it got locked, and then he asked me to try, i tryed one time and i got it back Just because it was from the origional I.P adress the account was created on. Gl on getting your account back.

Just try and obtain and put down as much information as you can find or remember for example have a look through your savings see when you put membership on and stuff like that :D.

I also wish you good luck in getting your account back :D.

If the stats are pretty good, keep trying to recover. If not leave it in the dust

Chances are after 8 or 9 tries you may just be providing the wrong information even if you claim to be the original owner. The system is pretty simple, if the information your providing is accurate and correct they will accept it; if not there is no point in trying again after several rejections.
