Topless and many pits, sweatier than anything imaginable, I' got elbowed in the lower back and it hurts like crazy, partially deaf and I've lost my voice pretty much, that and other things I did after has easily made it the best night of my life.

Set list: from what I can remember.
Equinox, Rock n Roll, Bangarang, Summit, Ruffneck Bass, Scary Monsters, In for the Kill, Cinema, My name is skrillex, Long drive, pretty much every single one of his songs..
He also did promises and reaching out and maybe one other by Nero and then A Knife party song called Fire Hive.

Its funny because I didnt get the tickets until 2 hrs before the show started.

Thank god for friends who couldn't go.

Skrillex uses the same sounds for all of his songs, it's really annoying. Dubstep is really annoying.

Whats the point of seeing someone like skrillex live? What's the real value you get out of seeing him live rather than listening to his mixes on an ipod?

I mean, with rock bands, they can really put on a show. Pyro, amazing lights. Change the feel and atmosphere with every song. They take you on an emotional journey. I remember projekt revolution with linken park, my chemical romance, taking back sunday, and the show was epic. Each band had their own setup on stage, their own performance.

With shit like skrillex, you go and you listen to the same WUB WUB WUB for an hour and a half and the tard bobbing his head up and down smoking a cigarette.

What is the point??

Ugh dubstep is terrible

 

Opposed to Guitarists and pop bands who use the same chords all the time.

I felt skeptical too, It was only when I got in when I noticed how worthful it is. Dubstep was made to be danced to, you can't just sit there listening to it, that with Skrillex's huge Screen thing and the lights that were added, the momentous amount of dancing and pits to his drops.
There is an atmosphere around every song, that or everyone was tired from the previous amount of dancing and slowed on the next slower song.

I dunno, I think you're just judging it from what you've heard or seen, but the experience - if you enjoy dubstep or skrillex's songs, or even Neros and Knife Party's (they were included in his setlist) - was amazing, every drop was 1000x better than it was on the recording release.

Besides, I've been to more metal gig's then I've been to Dubstep/Skrillex, so you're trying to convince someone who doesn't need to. It was an amazing night, that is all.
