Wow, i think that this is a very interesting concept and i would like to live in a place similar to his! ( Although i would prefer it at about 200 sq feet ).

It saves land, saves electricity costs, saves building materials and it doesn't even seem less complete than other homes!

What are your views? Would you mind living in such a house?

 

Title is misleading, he said it was 100 sq feet.

That house would definitely be too small for me.

Our resources are being used at a increasingly frightening rate and soon, before we all decide to take action, we would have depleted our resources! Many wealthy people think that "big is better" and often buy ridiculously HUGE houses with lavish facilities ( which they don't even use ). Although it is their right, their money, but it will not be sustainable!

 

They designed so it's got everything with the most compact design they could. So in theory it's not that small, because it's got all the things a house has. It's a good idea.

 

It's very clever, but I just wouldn't be willing to do it. He's right about humans feeling as if they need everything bigger, and better.

that is a cool idea and the house looks pretty cool but it is just to small for me il like 6'5" and i feel i would be claustrophobic in such a tiny space

 

No thanks lol, my room is bigger than that. It's also a lot more expensive than I would have thought. I'd say like $5,000-$10,000 MAX, but this guy charges like $45,000 l0l. For that much money you could buy something with like 8x as much space.

 

def cool but im to big to live in it probably, and if i could live it in i wouldnt do the wet bath couldnt bear thinking of showering in there.

Edit: I also live in about 1400 sq ft and i dont mind it, my friends say they love my house which is great only thing i could wish for is more storage and maybe an extra shower otehrwise im set

 

I don't think the loft counts towards the living space, but whatever. I really don't need that much space but I wouldn't want to live in that just because I have so much crap and my massive computer desk and stuff. I'd never be able to keep it clean enough. Give me a few hundred square feet for me and my girlfriend and I would be set. Its a lot cheaper to buy or rent and to heat, power, etc.

 

Its more per square foot because you still need everything that normal houses have.... If you put 5 bedrooms in a house, you just need to throw a couple more walls up not build an entire house.

i loved that jewish comment. and i might be willing to do this too but think the loft would b efine for me, jus not for sex and id always hit my head when i wake up
