Chance of Reset?

I'm about to buy 280m from a seller who used the world 54 staking method. Currently I only have a 45mil bank so That's all I can put up for stake. What are chances that I get reset?

 

Depends on the seller, if their customers have had a history of getting wiped, then you can consider not buying. No one really knows Jagex's method of detecting RWT, it seems just by chance.

I think you should be safe.

 

Just stake 45m and he does too. then you have 90m, and he stakes and you win, and so on, make it look legit, small increments at a time, until you whipe him out.

This. I'd also advice letting him get you to half health or so before you kill him. Just make it look more realistic.

 

They shouldnt check staking i would hv thought as people lose/ win bils daily

 

This is your best bet, but jagex are cracking down on rwting hard right now, and there is always a chance that you could get wiped.

Also, if you're both high levels, you should probably attempt a DM.

A deathmatch, with food included and pretty much fair rules (melee, food, pots etc.). Thing is, you're basically safe in a situation like this, and what would make it seem more realistic is when you spec. Tell him to stay at like 50-60% hp. Claw, AGS, Korasi (prob the best option due to its high accuracy). And do something that would drop him from that hp.

I've done a fair amount of DMs in the past, and I've koed people my level with a double korasi spec (Had vigor and spec restores).

Theres a low chance even with trading if you havent traded 100M+ before on the account. Staking shouldnt be a problem

 

This is not how it works guys.
Mass RWTers get reset, and people buying from them get traced and reset at the same time.

For OP: Keep your wealth mostly in items for a week and you'll be fine.

 

you could try scamm duel tho. Just klick pots on last moment and act like you cheated 3 times in duel for that cash

 

i have bought about 20b on Mirc and resold it there, never got a cash reset (yet)

 

BSGP was reset for 10 AGS, 5 claws, few arcanes and Specs. Oh and 24M.

I have a feeling Jagex are now manually resetting cash piles.

 

Only mass RWTers will get their items reset after getting caught several times, I've been reset alot more times than him and the first few times you don't get your items reset ;]

It's always been manual, I highly doubt they have a fully automated system.

 

I wouldnt worry about it what will be will be . But like said above you will be less likely to get banned if you make it look a bit more realistic. For example if you are taking no damage every time then jagex will more than likely detect something but if you are taking damage there is less chance of getting caught.
