    What browsers do you guys use (@the people getting reset)?
    What browsers do you guys use (@the people not getting reset)?

    Do you remember when Google Chrome was being pushed by Jagex? The reason for this (I believe) was 1. kickbacks from Google ($cha ching)

    2. Google Chrome has a client_id variable to track EXACTLY what a user has been doing. I think its in;
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Google\Update\ui and a second instance under HKEY_USERS.
    You can null this value so you are not unique. I think it will drop you off a table Jagex has implemented. Do some tests after you null.

    If you are able to test on 1. another computer (on opera/safari etc) that would be great. Call me a conspiracy theorist but do you have GOOGLE CHROME GOGGLES IN YOUR INVENT? ;)

    I'm not even a trader nor into programming i just thought it was an interesting post:)

    Between the 2 wipes I only lost around 100m. Its just really annoying now because I have no incentive to make money on rs if at any time they can wipe me lol. I'll have to take constant breaks to store as items.

    I don't use google chrome.

    Edit: Noticed I was wiped again today, just logged in. They even deleted items completely this time (to 0) in my bank.
    Such as godwords etc. I didn't have more than 1 of each. I only lost about 100M anyway.

    Taking a break atm, if they're deleting even single items there's no point in risking it.

    So would deleting those java files remedy a solution to a computer on which an account was wiped and mark the computer as "clean?" Or is there no definite answer/needs more testing?

    If a buyer were to buy from a seller and the seller trades on a computer that's flagged then is the buyer also at risk of a wipe?

    I believe so there are some buyers who are getting wiped but its mainly from mass trading, as for your first question I have no answer for it at the moment, I've still been testing it out but haven't tried the deleting java bit yet as I've been busy. :(

    It seems like it could be one of two things Jagex is looking at. Because kmjt was wiped for legitimate wealth gain it could be a completely scripted wipe system. Sort of like how the appeal system works in Runescape, appeals for any offense in Jagex I don't believe are 100% personally looked at by Jagex employees, because I have had my fair share of ridiculous appeals that were 100% ludicrous and still recovered accounts/ had blackmarks removed.

    So, it is either automated wiping of accounts that have been flagged and any wealth that is gained will be wiped (within reason).

    Or Jagex could honestly be taking personal action and personally looking into each individual trade.

    But look at it this way, they would have to have so many damn people to be looking into each individual trade and wipe everything that swiftly. 20 minute time frame? No way does Jagex have that kind of man-power for all these trades.

    Another way to look at it. With as many dicing games that go on how many of them are being wiped? I may not be a gold seller or buyer currently, but the big sellers/ buyers should consult big names in the dicing scene and see if they have been experiencing wipes or the people that have gained wealth/ lost wealth to dicing have been wiped.

    Look at the bot nuke. Did Jagex personally go through millions of botting accounts and ban them? No. They have an automated system. There are probably tons of factors that flag someone as a RTW'r or as a bot.

    For the people that have been hit hard due to their new detection system you should all be banning together to figure out a way around this new system.

    You guys should be troubleshooting methods of transfer. The gold trading scene has changed, face to face trading isn't going to work anymore and reform is needed for RWT.

    In other words, you need to make these massive gains of wealth look legitimate as possible. Extra steps must be taken for the big name sellers/ buyers because they have been flagged and these people need to find a way to "renew" their identity to Jagex's system. Simply making new accounts or changing IP's won't work anymore.

    Something very interested happened to me. I just experienced my 7th wipe on my main. I was playing during the time so when I tried to log back in after being disconnected I got the inaccessible message. When I log back in first I check my bank, nothing has been wiped there (purple phat, mask set, santa, easter egg were in bank as well as 6m). I check my GE and they wiped my yellow party hat that I put in there. The interesting thing is they didn't wipe any of my gp. Baffled.

    I wouldn't recommend logging onto a wiped account on a different computer if its been wiped its most likely flagged and will continuously be wiped whether you make the gp legitimately or not.

    Yes this happened to my account, I bought a small amount of gold (<100m) from a seller, and around 10 minutes later after storing it in the bank, it was wiped

    Has anyone tried uninstalling java and then reinstalling it? It should delete java along with any updates and files it stored on your computer.

    Also you can try

    My computer

    local disk drive

    .jagex_cache_32

    Runescape

    just delete the entire Runescape file.

    ^

    A few more things;
    Here are my helpful (maybe) tips that may help your account not get flagged;

    Google how to null your ID in google chrome (if you use).
    Everyone talks about IP ranges? Proxy not cutting it?

    Anyone thought about connecting outside your IP address? Why not get a usb dongle thing and try connecting at different times of the day via satellite? Or go outside (heaven forbid:p) and use public internet. Try this combined with clean install of java/cache cleaned/removal of RS cache and rule out combinations that do not work or 1s that do..

    Setup some clean accounts on random IP/clean computer and leave for a few months with certain accounts added in friends list as well for future endeavours.

    Last but not least; try wearing a disguise IRL; I put on glasses with the big nose and moustache - Although I only traded several times to setup my account - I DID NOT GET CAUGHT!! So yea - this added with duel arena (w54) u should be sweeeet!

    ^ VPS will change your hardware ID / cache if they do it based on that.

    However, I'm pretty certain they only base it on IP adress at the moment.
    Whenever I change my IP and account, it takes them a while to reset me again.

    Just delete your RuneScape cache and then it will re download when you load RuneScape.
