I have two (pretty much unrelated) things that have been on my mind, both relating to time. And sorry if I leave things out or anything of that nature. It's 5:30 am and I haven't been to bed yet. 1) I've been thinking about this a lot recently. A lot about how once your time is up, it's up. Odds are that it's it; no more chances, no more movies, no more games, no more learning, no more dates/loves, no more anything. It's a scary thought; even if we die at 90 years old, when we get to be 90 years old, it will have felt like time flew. And there's also a chance that we could die right now. The second I hit the send button or the second you hit the reply button. I don't know what provoked these thoughts but I've given a new value to life. I almost feel bad killing a fly now; what makes my life more important than that fly's life. It didn't ask to be buzzing around my house, why should its one and only chance get ended because I want to update my Facebook status without hearing a "bzzzt" sound. Almost makes me want to believe in religion; too bad it's so absurd, so cockamamie... 2) Time itself What exactly is time? No one can answer for sure, and it's a concept that is completely foreign. Are we even designed to be able to understand it? Or is it like the other dimensions, where we can't perceive them. Note, this is all from what I understand. Don't quote me on any of it, but I'm pretty sure it's mostly accurate. I haven't studied quantum mechanics or theoretical physics much at all so I know there's a lot I don't know. If you're familiar of the multiverse theory if involves universes "popping off" from others. Imagine one universe in the center, which has no time. Time has run out/time is finished. This is a great way to look at it Time, according to this, flows on one direction. This meaning, (which makes sense if you really think about it) going back in time is not possible. With that said, we can't control the direction of time, however, we may be able to control the speed of time. Now, paying attention to the image above and the theory, time isn't infinite. It will eventually run out. When that happens the universe becomes a parent universe, like in the picture above. In this parent universe there is no arrow of time; there is no future and past. Everything is the same. It is said that beings like us couldn't be in a universe like that. So what happens if you found a way to alter the speed at which we travel through time and travel 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 years into the future. And at that point our universe has become static. What would happen to us? Would be be frozen in time forever? Or is there only one universe, and is there no such thing as time. Is time just a human creation used to measure spans of, well, time. I wish I could travel to the future to a point where people have more of this figured out.
Time: The duration it takes for a certain event that is constant to happen again and again. Example, they use light watches to calculate time on earth. In fact, that is how they measure a second. They put two mirrors and a beam of light and they see how long it takes for it to go from one mirror to another.
I doubt there will ever be a way to speed up time and if there is it will ruin the course of humanity by speeding everyone elses time up aswell. (Theory)
I'm going to use your diagram.. I understand it, but it leaves so much room for question. Where did the parent universe come from? As far as we know, everything must come from something... That's something I end up thinking about a lot. Some people will say time is the 4th dimension, which makes sense. The only thing is that it's impossible to draw so obviously it is going to be mysterious if nobody can picture it, much less comprehend it.
Time is the 4th dimension. Ever heard of the theory of special relativity? Also concerning this: Time, according to this, flows on one direction. This meaning, (which makes sense if you really think about it) going back in time is not possible. With that said, we can't control the direction of time, however, we may be able to control the speed of time. Time does not flow in one direction. Time just is. Like x, y, and z space just are so is time. Time is linked to the fabric of space itself and is relative to the viewer which means that depending on the state of the viewer time warps with space. It is complicated to explain and even more complicated to grasp as a concept. Time isn't a constant as it seems you are assuming; time is relative.
Inter-Dimensional Travel Our being is infinite, and spans many dimensions simultaneously. There is only one moment, and this moment encompasses all of existence. In our current perception we perceive time in a relatively linear fashion, and this allows us to sequentially connect different aspects of this singular moment to create time lines, or story lines, which we use to define and create our life. As multidimensional beings we use time as a way to reflect our own awareness in order to experience our own infinite nature. Each moment is a unique reflection of your own infinite nature. Time is a tool we use to navigate the experience of our own awareness. Our consciousness is the window through which infinity gazes upon its own reflection, immersed in the awe of eternity. Our life is an experience of sequential moments strung together to form a story line, yet from a cosmic perspective all of these moments are interconnected, they are the same moment seen from many different perspectives. We have temporarily allowed ourselves to experience a linear progression of moments in order to create time lines that can be moved though, but our true being is not restricted by the confinements of linear time. Our true self is infinite, and completely transcends time. When you are fully immersed in the present moment, time does not exist, it is a man made construction, and we use it to lock ourselves in to unhealthy patterns that go against the organic cycles of nature. Singularity: The Melting Pot of Dreams Time, as a dimensional construct is a fractal of awareness. As we maneuver our awareness through linear time lines momentum is created which accelerates the collective expression of time. As this process occurs the energy of creation will condense itself into more and more concentrated cycles of perceived time. All time is ultimately consolidated into a single moment, this is the singularity. It is from this place that we may witness our own birth and our own death, the entire cosmos is observing its own existence from within this single point of awareness. As the cycles of time condense, the boundaries which solidify our reality will begin to dissolve. The walls that hold this dream world in place are melting, and as this happens we are collectively moving into a state of transfiguration, much like a caterpillar that enters a cocoon, we will completely dissolve the nature of the current form into a formless energetic soup in order to give birth to the dreams which reside within us. This process is happening on different scales and cycles within our own life and the world around us all the time. If we are paying close attention, we can tap into the potential energy created in this gestation of the soul and maneuver our awareness into the dream of reality that we wish to inhabit on the other side of it all. The formless dream is the state of infinite potential; it is the womb of creation. From this fertile womb we will manifest what we feed our energy and attention into. Our intention is the clay that sculpts the dream of life, and as we create our own birth we energetically attach ourselves to the realities that we have created with our divine artistry. Death is our friend. Transformation is inevitable. Your life is in your own hands, you are the artist of creation. If you don’t like your life – change it! You have the tools, you have the power, you have the choice, and you have the freedom. Anything else is a lie that you have convinced yourself of. Dream your own dream. Life is a constant process of transformation; it is the alchemical journey of the formless unborn potential into the crystallized experience of reality that we co-inhabit. Every night as we sleep our life fades away into the realms of dreams and rebirths itself into existence in the morning as we awake. Every moment is a fresh start, a new opportunity to create something beautiful. Nurture the divine artist within yourself and allow your soul to guide you into the expression of the infinite. With the Gregorian calendar, which we currently use in western society, we are locked into man-made cycles which attempt to regulate our experience of time, confining it into repeating patterns which oppose the cycles of nature. We fragment our experience of life in order to contort it into a system that seeks only to control us. Unfortunately the calendar is not mathematically sound, which is why we have leap years and months with an irregular amount of days. I am an advocate of the 13 moon Mayan calendar as a cultural alternative. Forms of this calendar have been used for thousands of years by ancient civilizations. The 13 moon calendar follows the natural cycles of nature; it is based on moon cycles rather than sun cycles. Moon cycles have great importance because the moon directly affects the water of the earth, including the tides and the water inside our body. When a woman is naturally harmonized with the cycles of nature her menstrual cycles will often begin to align themselves with the cycles of the moon. The moon also has profound effects on our consciousness; people often have a greater influx of cosmic energies during a full moon, which causes intense and erratic behavior in many people. Depending on our choices, and the choices of others, we choose which time line we enter into, we choose which experience we attach ourselves to, and through this process we choose which realities we navigate our conscious experience into. Everyone is doing this all the time. In each moment we are traveling through different dimensions, we are multi-dimensional beings that are warping our awareness through space-time. Even though this is a phenomenon that is occurring in each and every moment, many people remain entirely unconscious of it. The more conscious we become of this process, the more we allow our awareness to expand, the greater an ability we will have to navigate our experience of reality into the desired “story line” that we wish to inhabit. We are all co-authors in a cosmic play, and we are all collectively writing the story of humanity. As we become more conscious, we can choose to consciously write our story instead of allowing other beings to write it for us. The more we align ourselves with the natural harmony of the cosmos and take personal responsibility for our lives, the more our inner power will return to us. As we reclaim our own innate power and divinity our ability to write our own story will expand, allowing us to choose our own destiny on a cosmic scale. Destiny is a funny word; it implies that we live in a deterministic universe in which a specific path has been set up for us. This is true to some extent, in that we come into this life with a very detailed configuration of karma. Karma is the map of lessons and experiences that our soul uses to navigate on its path through life. However, we also have free will, anything can be changed, and at any moment we can choose to take a different course entirely. All paths lead to the same place. All paths lead to the infinite, to the source of creation. No matter where you are in this moment, you will eventually return to the source of creation, where you have always been and where you always will be. This is the destiny of all creation, the journey home. During our journey, we can use a variety of techniques to change the course of our time-line. We can intentionally navigate into parallel realities that are aligned with our intentions. This does not mean that we can escape the laws of karma, or the laws of the cosmos, but it does mean that we can use our intention to guide us into a variety of different realities that can entirely transform our life as we know it. Anything is possible for an infinite being. This process of inter-dimensional traveling is innately connected to our own inner healing. We come into this life with a karmic configuration that requires us to learn certain lessons before we can evolve, and if we fail to learn these lessons our soul will continue to manifest situations that reinforce these lessons with increasing intensity until we are able to move past it. The quicker we learn these lessons, the more rapidly our process of evolution accelerates. Every moment has a valuable lesson to teach if you are paying close enough attention. The more we focus our attention in the present moment, in the NOW, the more these lessons will become apparent. Eventually, with a continued discipline and awareness, by continually observing ourselves, learning the lessons that life has presented to us becomes an active and unavoidable process that is completely effortless. Once this process gains enough momentum, it will continue naturally in an organic state of perpetual evolution. There will always be more lessons to learn, life is a never-ending opportunity to expand our awareness and evolve. However, there is a point of critical mass in a soul’s evolution; there is a breaking point so to speak that is often characterized by an extremely intense experience, often termed an “Awakening”. Many of you have already had such an awakening. Perhaps some of you have not. Awakening is an entirely organic process that comes from our innate desire to grow, expand, and evolve. If you seek, you will eventually find. By making a genuine effort to concentrate on our own process of evolution, our own inner healing, and by showing a genuine effort to learn and let go of negative patterns in our life that are holding us back, we begin to cultivate a space within our being that makes room for unfathomable transformations to occur. Awakenings come in many forms, often times a spiritual awakening is invoked through the Kundalini energy, which is characterized by many spiritual traditions as the universal life force energy. During an awakening this life force energy moves up the spine through the major chakras (energy centers). The Kundalini energy is often represented as a serpent which lays dormant at the base of the spine, however when it is awakened it will rise up the spine unleashing massive amounts of intensified fiery energy into the being, illuminating all of our chakras and incinerating energetic blockages. Some people experience the process of awakening as a slow and steady pace, while others may experience sudden illuminations that transform their lives within a short period of linear time. This depends on the nature of the soul and the circumstances surrounding the awakening. Life itself can be viewed as a process of awakening which unfolds organically. Awakening can be a joyous transformation or an extremely difficult and terrifying process depending on how much resistance we create for ourselves. As we go through the process of awakening, our being will become increasingly purified allowing our energy body to conduct and transform energies of a higher vibrational frequency. Such an illumination immediately connects us to an extremely powerful energetic current that can be overwhelming if the individual is not used to experiencing such a tremendous influx of energy, occasionally resulting in negative consequences if the individual creates too much resistance to this new energy. Resistance is often created by denying or ignoring our inner truth and the lessons that life has presented us with. If we create too much resistance our energetic blockages will become exaggerated until we allow ourselves to deal with them. Sometimes this can be stressful on the nervous system and the energy body because we are processing more energy than our nervous system is capable of handling, which can result in “Short-Circuits” in our being. This manifests as emotional and mental breakdowns, anxiety, and overwhelming psychic phenomenon depending on which chakras are involved. By practicing different spiritual techniques of purification such as meditation and yoga the nervous system can be trained to conduct higher vibrational energy frequencies with ease, allowing us to channel and transform larger quantities of universal energy. A true awakening is completely transforming because it initiates a process that, once in motion, slowly eradicates all energies that are not in harmony with the natural energy of the universal life-force, both internally and externally. People who experience awakenings while still deeply engrained in the cultural matrix will quickly find that their old way of life is not harmonized with this new energy, and they will be forced to completely transform their lifestyle to find balance with this new energy within them, to find balance with the Sacred Life force once more. Failure to do so will often result in the manifestation of extremely painful situations until the being finally learns the necessary lessons to move on and use the gifts of creation in a sacred and balanced manner. Trusting in the natural flow of life minimizes resistance and suffering. Listen to the messages that life is giving you. Everything will happen when it is supposed to as the cosmos unfolds organically with absolute perfection. There are many stages and initiations in the process of awakening. A soul may progress through these stages as rapidly or as slowly as the soul wishes to evolve. As the soul evolves it will be capable of processing a more diverse array of universal energies spanning a greater spectrum of creation. Different traditions have many different maps and models of these stages of awakening. They vary greatly from culture to culture because they are based on different paradigms, and I will not attempt to describe them here. There is no map that is true for everyone. By listening to our own inner voice of truth we can determine what is true for us in each moment, discarding all of the unnecessary information. Inter-Dimensional Navigation Techniques: I find that many difficult concepts are easier understood when they are reduced to the simplest form. In my map of reality, “Energy” is the lowest common denominator which spans the entire spectrum of creation. Anything in creation can be reduced to an energetic model. Becoming a master of inter-dimensional travel requires a comprehensive understanding of energy. You must have a solidified intention in order to effectively navigate to a specific destination; otherwise you will be completely at the whim of cosmic forces. This can be fun if you’re simply looking for an adventure and nothing more, but an intention can at the very least help to ground you in specific values. Holding an intention creates a solidified energy within you that magnetizes realities which resonate with the energy of your intention. For example, by keeping a simple intention to live in a harmonious way you can, at the very least, repel realities which contradict that intention as long as you remain true to your intentions. For example, if you have an intention to treat all beings in a loving manner, and you are constantly projecting love, you will avoid realities and situations that contradict this intention, and when you are confronted with beings that contradict this intention, they will either be repelled by your love or become absolved and transformed by it as long as you remain steadfast in your intention. This can allow one to act fearlessly. With love always in your heart, you will align yourself with harmonious frequencies of creation. When you are in this place of love there is absolutely nothing to fear. Fear cannot touch you if you truly live in a state of love and harmony. Sometimes it is necessary to transform your reality completely, in this way you can move yourself into a completely different dimension. You completely dismantle your old reality to make the necessary space for a new reality to be birthed. To birth a new reality, it is necessary to completely release any conception of your old reality, and all energy that is attached to it. This is an extremely powerful technique of transformation that allows for an infinite potential of manifestation. When you release energy, you create an empty space which contains “potential energy”. The more energy you release, the more potential energy that is created within you, and this potential can be used to attach yourself to a reality of unimaginable wonder. An extreme example of this kind of transformation would be spontaneously quitting your job, giving away all of your things, shaving your head, and walking off in a random direction without looking back. While the aforementioned example is way too extreme for most people to take seriously, I have known several people who have done very similar things with astounding results (of course, one should not do something like this to run away from a situation where they are truly needed). This monumental release of energy creates an extremely fertile womb for new energy to manifest. As this new energy begins to take form it must be guided with pure intention and extremely focused attention to truly sculpt the life of your dreams. Personal Sacrifice of one form or another is necessary to attain anything of lasting value. The more potential energy you create for yourself in each moment, the greater your ability to manifest will become. You must have a source of potential energy to draw from in order to manifest. If you have access to a large pool of potential energy, anything you need in your life can be materialized and created. The best way I have found to allow space for potential energy is to live in a perpetual state of transformation. By learning to take only what you need and continuously letting go of all that which no longer serves you enough potential energy can be consistently maintained to manifest miracles. Not only will you have a consistent field of potential energy when you live in a state of perpetual transformation, but your energy field will also maintain enough momentum to accelerate and amplify itself with minimal effort on your part, this allows you to conserve your own energy. Through this process you will become capable of processing larger amounts of energy to share with all of creation. Transformation can come in many forms. We can change our appearance, our environment, our relationships, our patterns, our ideas, and different aspects of ourselves. If you want to transform your environment, you move, or you travel. If you want to transform your thoughts, you can use mantras or affirmations, if you want to transform your patterns, you put yourself in new situations. There are many different realms of our being which we can transform. Every facet of your existence is responsible for your collective manifestation of reality. When we change our environment, our energy field completely changes. When we change our thoughts, we change what kind of energy we are projecting on subtle level which changes what we attract into our lives. When we change our patterns, we create new space for novelty in our life which allows one to be more absorbed in the NOW, more present in the moment, which frees up blockages and allows energy to flow freely. As we learn the art of transformation we will gradually become less attached to the false image we have created of ourselves. Through the practice of continuously letting go of things which no longer serve us, we dig deeper within ourselves to illuminate our true nature. Your true nature is the piece of you that is not bound down by any piece of the material realm, it transcends all illusions, every piece of what you consider to be “You” can die, and yet there is still an essence deep within us that is eternal. Eventually, you will be required to let go of the thing which you identify the most with – your sense of self. To truly dive deep into life's mystery we must surrender ourselves into the unknown, welcoming death as our alchemical teacher and guide to pave the way for true transformation to occur within us, so that it may reflect externally in our world. All illusions must be transcended for the light of truth to shine through. The deeper you dig into your own inner nature, the more you will discover that you are not your body, you are not your thoughts, you are not your actions, you are not your relationships, you are not your ego. You are light, you are love, you are infinity gazing at its own reflection in the mirror. You are the emptiness from which the entire universe births itself into being. By learning to release all things that do not serve us and living in a perpetual state of transformation, we can uncover more and more of our true nature and embody that truth within our day to day lives. As we align our being with truth, our life will begin to reflect this truth. As we embody our own divinity, our life will become a reflection of Divine wonder. By aligning our own will with the will of the divine, the two will gradually become unified and we can work miracles. This whole thread is way to much reading for my brain right now, but from what I've read it sounds to me like your new look on life is just puberty.
It is a strange thought thinking your life could end anytime, Especially the fact that gets me is once its up its most liekly up. All that work for nothing in the end, You just have to live every day likes its your last.
