I've been trading RSC and RS2 for a long time now (Hence the name) and I can tell you, you will never get 1:4 unless you get some real fool who didn't play in ages.
Jagex now allows trades to be done between the games, and BECAUSE there are less rsc players (you can no longer register), that's what makes the value higher than you'd think. 1:1 is the common ratio now, going up to 1:1.5 MAX for lower value trades.
