    Anyone can change their avatar. Just make sure that it is the correct size and that it is the right type of file.

    Edit: I forgot to mention that it usually works better if you upload it to a site like imageshack or photobucket first.

    If the upload failed, try using the URL for the image instead. That'll probably work.
