Sythe Weekly RsGp Lottery!

Hi,

I, HazzaGFX, have decided to start a great rsgp lottery!
These will be held weekly, but I may not be available sometimes. :/
I wouldn't call my self trusted so if you would like an OMM to handle the money, that is fine!

I hope everyone finds this great fun!

How it works
1. Everyone entering can comment or pm me if you want to enter!
2. In the comment/pm you just write that you would like to enter the Current lottery and choose a number between 1-50. (I will increase the size if this lottery becomes more popular in sythe!)
3. We will arrange a meeting on runescape where you will pay me the fee to enter.
4. I will update the thread with your number and name!
5. Once all the numbers have been chosen or the week is coming to an end, I will use Random.org (a random number generator) to randomly pick one of the numbers.
6. The person with the number wins the lottery and gains 85% of the pot while I will take a measly 15%! I will then pay you your prize in-game!

You should say you're taking 5% for 50 people or less, 10% for 100-200 people and 15% for anything above 200 people. This just looks like something that you're trying to earn money off of, not something that you seem like you're doing for fun.

 

I think if something like this is going to take place, it should be ran by a moderator, especially if it's in the Community General forum. If you wish to do your own, it should be in the Marketplace somewhere.

 

No offense, but not many people are going to trust you with holding gold.

 

Why would you keep 15% of it?

 

I believe that this needs to be approved by a moderator actually. I'll check up with one.

 

Doesn't a moderator approve it anyways before it's allowed to be posted?

@OP I don't think this is going to work whatsoever, you're taking way too big of a rake, each entry costs too much, and you aren't really trusted.

I'd personally rather sell 3m worth of GP and gamble with it at a place where I know I'll get my money if I win.

 

That's how Lottery's work. He needs to make some profit.

I don't feel your fit to run this, However. I had a similar idea, but I'd wait till I'm more Globally known, and trusted.
