So I recently aquired a range tank

99 defence, 99 ranged, 99 hp, 99 magic, 99 dungeoneering.

Less than 60 attack and strength.

106 combat.

What gear should I be using in the wildy and what should I use as a KO weapon?

dont put any money on there because i know how you got it, dont make it mems either otherwise they just get free mems, its best just to leave it for a while, e.g. 1month or so

 

Even after a month its a stretch.
I held an account for a month. Set new recovs new email new facebook. The facebook and email allowed me to recover the account back twice before the original owner claimed it stolen. Regardless he could easily override the measures I put up, so after the 2nd time I just stripped it and let him have it.

 

It's a range tank so I'll only have to put 1m on it to pk properly. That's what? 70 cents?

If I'm ever in a recovery battle I'll just drop everything on the account. The guy has been here since 2010 so I'm fairly sure it's not a scam. On the other hand he's probably going to take it back when he realises he misses pking on it.

Yes. Don't pk on range tanks, they're absolute crap. :L Oh well, if you're really tempted to do that, then msb-hc/msb-cbow (d bolts) or msb-dbow. None will actually work efficiently, though :3.

I would just simply say HC & veng with a simple d hide set & torags helm.

It is seriously the most efficient way with VERY little risk.

 

Hand Cannon and Dbolts and maybe even throw in a dark bow.

 

Gear... Go standard tank gear like torags helm blk d'hide top rune legs spirit shield d bolts e and use a chaotic cross bow with a d bow combo? Usually the Chaotic c bow will combo them out anyway...

If it ends up getting recovered just recover it back and ruin the stats, that's a good way to piss of a recovery asshole.

 

i aint gunna recover it back, i honestly havent logged on in 3months, once bot nuke i have no interest in playing..

in honesty i am shit at pking, hence the lost c.bow, but i did have some success with basic tank gear with d bolts (e) and darkbow, its hard to get k0s tho without veng.

Im building my range tank atm. Will got for 99 range mage, 70 def, 85 str 60 attack and 77 prayer. Using d claws for spec. I think it will be awesome. I would go for 95 str with 60 attack and wreck with claws.
