Is Bandos worth it?

The Bandos Torso or fighter torso are you referring to?

I don't think I have the stats to get a fire cape but I'll look into the other stuff

 

I think fury is a must for all accounts, not so much bandos

If you have the cash, get bandos, otherwise get the <1M alternate, Torags.

 

Bandos is definitely worth it considering the strength bonus's, otherwise get barrows for the cheap.

Bandos is worth it if you cant afford torva and in need of a mellee set with good str bonus and decent defence. Only costs around 40m for the tassys and chestplate but its very useful to train and go bossing with.

Bandos is the main armour used by mains if they're bossing and its good for training so why not buy it if he can scrape up a few extra mils so he can have dboots/glory/whip/dragon defender?

 

Lol just because someone can afford a party hat doesn't mean it's worth it.

+2 strength isn't much, and who cares about looks, right?

But rapier is definitely the best choice.

The tassets are but, for the BCP instead of wasting 20M on it, a Fighter's Torso has the EXACT SAME benefits as the BCP except it's free which is even better. So, get that and safe yourself 20M.

Bandos is NOT all that its cracked up to be!

I have been using multiple sets of Barrows armour for ages (depending on which activity I am doing), and have never bothered buying Bandos even though I could afford it. About a week ago, I finally decided to purchase a set of Bandos just to see whether it was worth it or not, as I've been training Slayer nonstop for over 2 weeks and have been needing to repair my Barrows armour every few days.

After using Bandos for the last week, I am extremely unimpressed with it. I have not noticed the strength bonus AT ALL, as it hardly seems to make a difference when you are maxed with great strength bonuses anyways + using turmoil. Also, its defence bonuses are not much better than Barrows armour, and its magic bonus is practically nonexistant, and I've actually had to swap the bandos for Karils or Veracs for a number of different tasks!

For the 32M you pay, it is definitely NOT worth buying if you are tight on cash. Barrows are well worth the cash they cost to repair, and within the 10-15 hours of combat you get before they degrade, you can easily make that measly 300k to repair doing Slayer or killing dragons.

i have bandos on my obby tank, and i love it, it gives great strength bonuses and it's just an overall amazing armor, if you have a torso and dont want to spend the money on bandos it's an okay item to use in replacement of the chest plate but i'de say get it because it really is worth it. Best all arround armor for a person to have if they can 1. afford it and 2. wear it

Just dont get the bandos boots, get d boots.

 

Get tassys and torso, its the cheaper alterative and its almost the same stats, and dont get bandos boots they suck, get d boots
