quiting rs is it worth it

is it worth trying to sell my maxed out main or shud i jus let it go to waste

 

I think you've answered your own question..? If you have no intentions of using it, why not make some money from all the work you've put into it?

 

You will probably end up coming back one day and regret selling it.

Alot of people that quit end up doing that, I for one did haha

 

Go sell it, if you are quitting why would you keep it.

 

It's the person that you sell it to that will regret it if you decide to come back and since you have clearly put so much time into the account if its maxed your going to want it back. If you honestly think you will never want it again, then yes sell it.

 

If you really want to get out of the RS scene. Sell it. If not, you might find yourself re-addicted in a month.

 

Do it. There are far more exciting/worthwhile things you could be doing with your time.

You cant and wont quit rs. you can take breaks, but NEVER quit. Im 21, so called "quit" so many times, and now i play more then ever. Keep acc, belive me, youll be back.

 

Will you play Runescape again? If so, keep it and if not, sell it.

 

I can honestly say that I will never play for fun again.
To OP: I suggest that you sell the file. Let the game go for good. Your life will be better.

 

Don't sell it. It's not going to be worth that much in real life, and think how much time and effort you have put into getting it up. And probably you will end up coming back one day anyway.

 

As did I. I sold my very near to maxed main about 2 months ago on craigslist. I got around 350 dollars worth of stuff for it, then used the money to craigslist merchant (yeah, that stuff works in real life too) up to about 2200 dollars of stuff. In the end I wound up with a 37 inch LCD tv, a brand new xbox (which I paid someone to reset glitch hack), paid off all my debts with friends, got a new laptop, and got two super expensive subwoofers and two amps. Even after all of that stuff, I still really missed the account. I was looking on craigslist one day and saw that the person was trying to sell it, so I asked to buy it back from him, but he wouldn't take my offer for it. I guess the reason he didn't want to take my offer is because he was selling it then (attempting) to recover the account back from whoever he sold it to. A week or so ago I got a text from the guy asking to recover the pass for him because he "forgot it". I got suspicious and looked in to it a bit. I recovered the account, but traced the IP to someone else in the same state, which happened to be the same area that a guy that tried to buy it from me a few months ago lived in, so I figure he just sold it off and was trying to scam the guy, and I was right.
After an hour or so, the person he sold the account to called me and told me that me and "my friend" (the guy who I sold the account to, but sold it to him ((he's not my friend, just some random person)) were trying to scam him, and that he was going to call the police. I explained why he was a dumb ass for saying that, then recovered the account and gave it to him. Over a few days we became friends, and I tried to trade him two of my accounts for my main, but he wouldn't do it. 3 days ago I guess the guy got keylogged or something, and told me he didn't want to put up with all the crap of the account because the guy who sold it to him knew details and he thought it was being recovered by him, and he trusted me, so he said he would give me the account back for my two pures. I've had my main back for 3 days now and i'm SO FUCKING HAPPY. I could never use the account again and just be happy knowing I still have it.


Point of my story, don't sell your account, you'll regret it unless you're super fucking lucky and some amazing thing manages to happen that you wind up back with your account and a few 1000 dollars worth of stuff.

 

anyone here tried out world of warcraft?its really much better than runescape you should try it out

I quit RS a couple of months ago a little before the bot nuke and I've never looked back, if your going to quit you might as well sell your account.

 

I for one wouldn't sell it. I would rent it out as a staker and make some money, then sell the money I made for $. That way you keep your account and make money.

 

Same here, there's really no point of of keeping your account if you can make sure you won't come back.

 

You will wanna play again soon so if u sell u will have to start alllll over again keep trust me i have done it!
