Is Bandos worth it?

I just started playing again today and was wondering is bandos armor is worth the hefty price tag? If not what would you recommend for someone with 71att 75 str 70 def? I have 37m cash.

 

Yeah get bandos if your looking forward to training, if not then just keep the cash in case something comes up.

 

Should I just buy the chest and keep dlegs or go for the full set, how about boots?

 

Bandos boots are trash.

Buy in this order:

dragon boots
berserker ring
amulet of fury
dragon claws

You could have someone get a fire cape as well, it's very good.

Basically bandos is only good if you have all the above. It's also better to spend your money on extremes and turmoil.

Bandos is one of your last priorities.

 

Also try to imbue your zerker ring if you have the time. IMHO fury isn't really necessary because it has the same attack stats as a glory (And slightly better def stats). A dds is also just as good as dragon claws for training purposes. I suggest that as soon as you have d boots, whip/dds (or better), and a zerker ring, you invest in prayer, herblore, and summoning.

 

Bandos Isnt worth it.

 

I can afford bandos but I still won't purchase it. It's defense blows for the small STR bonus it gives. Barrows all the way.

Yes and no, if you have spare cash go right ahead and use it. If you don't have spare cash, Fighter Torso+Your choice of legs is sufficient.

If you are high levels with Turm or Piety, you can substitute Bandos out for Pros and do slayer tasks with Pros+protect+piety/turm

 

Get barrows legs, I prefer torag or verac, and get a torso. Then like the above said, fury, claws, b ring, ect.

 

Not getting fury, may get zerker, got torso, keeping dlegs(don't want to have to pay to keep repairing barrows, plus I have guthans), don't see need for claws unless I wanna pk. Thinking about getting a whip with vine whip.

Should I get claws to rent them out? How much could I rent then for per hr. per day?

 

Yes the strength and attack bonuses are great. Defence not so good imo.

But bandos isnt worth it, the simple torso,neit,d legs,boots,bgloves,ddef or dfs, whip,fury,fcape is still good.

 

fury has +2 strength over glory, and also looks a hell of a lot better

and ^whip vine also has a 80 slayer requirement.

Chaotics are so much better too, you'll be amazed by the rapier. Totally worth getting imo.

 

I would say yes it is worth it. I prefer bandos over claws, fury is not as needed as bandos imo. But you could just use barrows armour I guess, depends if you really enjoy having items like claws when your playing etc.

 

I need to start dungeoneering I guess! I reactivated my members yesterday after a very long hiatus.

 

A lot of the people posting on here are idiots. Bandos is good,but by the looks of it you cant really afford to buy it and still have some spare cash for other items

what you can get is:
a fury,who said not to buy a fury?its definitely better than a glory.Okay seriously thought get a torso and torags legs(stop being cheap) and get a berserker ring and a firecape.
