    If you're 100% sure about the answer to my question please help.

    Okay I have a question, I was selling an account and I went first, I gave him enough information to recover the account. He screwed me over and everytime I recover the account he just recovers it back. I've given up on the account and now he has control of it. I created the account with this IP address. If I wanted him to not be able to recover the account what would I have to do?
    I would love you so much if you could tell me this.

    Thanks for trying, I need someone to be sure they know what they're talking about. I don't want him re-recovering and getting it defense because he thinks I won't let him have it.

    Recover it
    Multiple times from many IPs. Make sure i gets locked, wait a week, then recover it

    I heard you can get an IP lock so that only the IP the account was created on can recover the account. How do you request one of these?

    When you recover the account ask for an account clean on runescape forrums. That will remove all details off the account that the hacker knows leaving you to not worry about the accounts welfare.

    Your best bet is contacting Jagex themselves and telling them the situation, post on the RS forums or the parent e-mail should be enough. It's much more easier and quicker than spending time logging in from multiple IPs.

    ^ Obviously, I would say something like "my computer was keylogged". That is a reasonable enough excuse.

    Yeah it should all work, providing you are on the IP you used on the account as it is the most evidentual proof jagex will have if two users know all the details.
