Need Help on PayPal!

Ok guys, This is what's happening..

My PayPal is limited, and it has some cash in, I really need to withdraw it, And it has been there for like 7 months and a while ago it gave me the option to withdraw to my bank.

At the start I put in a fake name, and my old address, because I didn't want to put my current as i'd get alot of mail.. but My dad said I could put in his bank details to withdraw it to, would this work? even though my paypal is a different address to the bank account.

Will it claim as fraud or anything and lock the bank/direct debit? as this is the bank which my dad gets paid through and pays for our house.

Put your dad's real info in
Paypal isn't so low as to sell your info.

It will work, but it happened the same to me, and they will never verify your account.

 

Just put in your dad's bank information. Paypal won't steal/sell it just because it's a limited account.

 

I mean its wrong info on the account like old address etc diff name..

Surely they could take action and lock the bank?

This has happened to me - they won't do anything, because as long as it exists on a limited account, that money essentially belongs to them.

Plus, they have no power over banks - they could possibly just keep your account limited, but that's the worst of it. PayPal is not a bank, it's a business based around banks.

 

They could theoretically block the money from going into the bank account, although it is unlikely they will do that. They can NOT however lock down any funds from the bank account itself, they have no control over your bank, only the funds in PayPal itself.

So if I put my dads bank in the funds will go straight to his bank?
They wont call the bank or anything?

 

Oh yeah guys, I might not have explained properly..
It gives me an option to withdraw the funds to a bank, thats all I want to do, I don't want to un limit.
