Manipulation.

I have asked this before. But, I discovered a website (http://www.grandexchangecentral.com/list.php?list=popular&mem=2&page=2&sort=none&ig=0) that shows possible price manipulations.

It looks like if a proper buyout is done, people could raise an item 5% per day. Would this be effective with 5b+?

I was thinking of maybe doing a higher demand item, so when i dump them, it would be easier to sell. I would go for 100% raise, which would hopefully allow me to sell by the time it falls down to 50%-75%.

What are your thoughts?

 

I used to price manupulate with several merching clans, and it is a great way to make money.
5b+ would be a great start to buy out an item, however you need to continuously keep buying it so the price keeps rising.

I appreciate the answer. How high would make an item raise normally? Doubled it? Trippled, etc?
