rs2006.net is it safe?

hey guys im not sure if this is the correct place but i recently decided to start playing private servers and i noticed rs2006.net looks like an AMAZING remake of 2006

it has 30thousand people online which seems potentially a lie to make you sign in because 30k ppl on a p server sounds unreal


im just wondering if anyone has used it and if its safe to create an account and play it and if that "30k" people is legit

I was under the impression that you cannot even play it yet, a beta hasn't even been released for it, to my knowledge.

I'm pretty sure it's safe, just obviously don't make an account with the same info as an actual runescape account, that is just dumb / common sense not to do it.


It looks pretty awesome, but I don't even think you can play any portion of it yet. Seems to have a huge following though.

Hasn't been released yet, yes it is 100% safe, the beta version will be out sometime this or next month (January or February).
30K people isn't a lie, it's just been noticed by a lot of people cause the actually production of the server has been going on for about a couple months if not a lot more.

 

yea when i made an acc for it, they had around 27k Registered users.

 

Looks promising but I dont know if I'll ever bother playing actively on it.

Considering that most people registered multiple accounts, I'd say that there are around 5000 individuals.

 

I registered an account with a different password to everything else, and it seems legitimate. If you're worried, don't use any info that is the same as anything else you use.

 

The team working on it is still preparing everything for the alpha/beta/whatever, and have been for some time. Apparently it isn't going to be like the vast majority of private servers with a bazillion cheats, they are working on making it 100% like Rs of '06(Quests, content, and all). They even had a poll that was going to determine the experience rate and the winner was 1x...shows you how much supporters and developers want to get as close to the real feeling of Rs in that time as possible.

 

It is safe, It is going to be a very succesful remake, I will personally play it.

 

iv been registered ever since they closed rs2007 and made its rs2006 nothing has ever happend to me that i know of

 

why doesn't the website work?

 

Its working fine for me and it looks amazing!

 

So what's stopping Jagex from stopping this RS2006? It sound interesting but surely Jagex can stop it whenever they feel like it?

 

This is my only thing holding me back from no lifeing this when it comes out. :'(
