    Nature vs. Nurture

I'm not entirely sure, but hasn't it already been well established that human development is in fact a result of both personal experiences and inherited qualities ?

Regardless, I believe it's a combination of the two. I really don't see how it could be just one or the other, but I'd love to be proven otherwise.

    Nature vs. Nurture

Human Life as being nature or nurture, or certain aspects? Acquiring Language, Nature or Nurture? A massive famous debate between Chompsky and Skinner...

Yes! I have read Chomsky's critique, which is slightly on the topic.
I am quite adamant that genetics take full effect if in the environment is at a constant throughout the years, however the environment, in the end, plays a much larger roll in the overall scheme.

Are you talking in general or a specific topic like homosexuality?

In general would be a bit too broad for me to really comment on but in terms of homosexuality I believe it's a bit of both. There may be an inclination towards being homosexual due to genes or how your brain works but I do believe that environment does factor in. Not entirely positive on how I would weight each one, but I'd like to think that nature has the larger effect in the end.

Mexicani, surely the story of Genie, someone who was kept away from language until the age of 8, who then managed to still acquire language, but not grammar shows a story to each side of the debate?

Good topic, we discussed this in my socaliogy class, Nurture is the dominant factor in how a human will interact in the future, for example, a Gang Member joined because he/she tought that they were the role models, not because some gene programed them to join the gang.
