Ya.. I'd like to highlight the fact, that he managed to fix the rsbuddy, but didn't release to public

 

he's probly farmin as we speak with it lol.

 

Interesting read indeed, im suprised he chose to say some of the Jagex team setups to those outside the company who are making bots against RS tbh, confidentiality etc

 

Doubt that is even crucial. As long as he doesn't give away source code or provide crucial information on how anti-bot codes work; i see no problems with it. All of the stuff he talks about are trivial and even when they talk about the source code. It is about whatever, his friends have decompiled.

I can't help but think Jacmob is a goof... even though I would have taken the job at Jagex as well, I do not like the way he went about breaking the news to the community he worked so hard to build, essentially leading everybody on and lying through his teeth and then literally switching sides overnight.

I saw him on W84 the other day at the GE and he is definitely THE most hated J-mod, as he was getting flamed by mobs of angry people, both ex-botters and players who are disgusted to see him hired as a J-mod.

 

deserved imo.

Well botting was a huge part of RS, so related imo.

Sooner or later I bet Jagex is gonna release JM bc of this hatred. It's bad PR for the company, the longer people hate & flame on him.

It was. I mean honestly who was going to get the millions if not billions of supplies that bots got. Like ess/ores/runes/fish/arrows/logs/herbs. It might be hard for some of those legit players to see, but they did help get mass amounts items for the legit players to skill. I wasn't for botting to gain RL money, but I did bot to get skills/items I needed.

I'm sure Jacmob will be hated for a long time.

 

Really I don't blame him. Working alone on Bots < Jagex.

 

Well, theres is bots, so they don't need to come back, and about reflection bots, i don't think they will be released to public. Next big thing should be openGL
