That Annoying Runescape Lagg !

Lol mt laptop is like 5 months old i only play runescape on it and i almost never download things. Buti have extremly lagg -.- Some know how i can avoid this lagg ? I play at the lowest settings and still lagg

 

the new updates make me lagg to :/

get a better connection didnt mean that in a bad way and whats your ghz and your graphics card on your aptop

 

try putting cpu to max, also task manager> processes> go on rs>set priority>high

 

also press the button bellow escape key when your logged on to open up the developers console and type in displayfps that will then show you your frames per minute

 

Whats your GHz and also your internet connection? Could just be the RS updates tho...

 

What are your specs. Try reinstalling background apps. use ctl alt delete open up task manager tell me how much CPU and physicall memory you're using with nothing open.

 

Please give us more information about your computer.
Try Ccleaner, deleting useless files and makes your comp alot faster.

 

This is all Jagex's fault, its not your laptop. Go look on RS forums under Technical Support and see all the crys of outrage from the players who are unable to play smoothly with the update yesterday.

I have a very high spec laptop, and it used to run at 40-50 FPS on RS HD beautifully, now I have less than 10 FPS and I am lagging like crazy, all after yesterdays graphical rework. I am getting tired of all these needless updates while Jagex completely ignores the thousands of players who are unable to play because of this shit!

 

Before the update i also have lagg.
And i have a brand new laptop @ my dad when i play runescape at the lowest setting is till lagg as hell..

Get closer to the internet connection. Either that, or maybe play on a world/server that's related to your country?

 

I had this same problem where after an update about a month ago i would lag like crazy. It would take about 30-45 seconds to load a new area when i teleported. And now after this last update i have been lagging even worse. I have played on the lowest graphic settings you can have just to avoid the lag, but today i tried setting the graphics settings as high as they can go. Although i still lag, i lag a lot less with the better graphic settings.

 

First I would clear your cache and delete your RS client, re-download and if it still doesn't work its Jagex's fault.
