Rare price rise speculation?

So since the introduction of these trolls, i believe many rich/high level players will feed there trolls rares. Causing a knock on affect and due to speculation will make prices rise.

But another note, Accounts with "Warship" on it now have a use for it, and i believe these accounts will be classed as "rare" as before they wernt due to the fact you could do nothing ingame with this ship.

Thoughts?

 

awesome thought on the warship, i havent even given that any thought.

and as far as the "rares rising".. people dont seem to understand just how many rares there are in the game. i doubt it will have any effect, except for people panic buying to get "fast cash" and people refusing to sell because they think it will rise. therefore, in term, they will rise. lol, but not because of the trolls eating them all ;P

 

I don't see "warship" having much value, tbh. People only want to buy an account that has a use, a cool little "warship" troll might add $10-20 worth of value but not much else.

Very few players have been feeding there trolls rares, I don't think it has much of an effect. Rares are rare, therefor in time they will get rarer and more expensive.

Today I saw
x2 disk trolls
x1 pumpkin
x1 divine spirit shield, trolls

 

I feel like warship will be worth a lot since there are dumb people out there -__-

 

Warships might be worth a little more b/c now people can see that you have well had one if you give it to ur trolls and it will be unique in a way i guess

 

I have already seen a troll named "party hat" at the dung lobby on W69, and quite a few videos of people feed santas, dragon claws, DFS etc. to their trolls.

It is madness if you ask me =/

Im sorry, but what are these trolls? As in like "UMadBro" Trolls? Or did runescape give out yet another pointless update?

 

They released a "Baby Troll" pet, which (following troll tradition) takes the name of the first item you feed to it. They can eat virtually every item in the game.

 

In that case, prices will initially rise, but wil crash after people attempt to merchant them.

 

I HIGHLY doubt many people will be feeding rares to the trolls. Chances are there will be a panic rise then a crash. On the Warship idea I can actually see people doing this, hope to get a account with that now
