Graphical Update?

Iron armour has a new look, looks decent, but I want my FPS :/

 

That looks way better than iron armour should...
What will dragon botters wear if there's no more d meds!?

 

There is med helms still, they just changed name to XXXX Helm

instead of XXXX Med Helm.

 

I feel like the old platebody looked better... Meh

 

Im not too sure about this because iron armour should look basic, in my opinion anyway...

Also i like the way they changed the names of RFD gloves.

 

Don't really care for it at all, tbh,
Runescape looked better before, even with the 2D graphics, these new updates just kill the game more and more, each and every single time.

 

MEH I don't mind the graphical improvements but this looks almost exactly like guthans :X

I must agree, rs is never what it was, the old school graphics MADE rs what it was...

 

You think so because so had the majority of your fun back then. I'm sure a lot of RSClassic players want to go back to the RSC graphics. Is that a good idea? No. As I'm sure a lot of post 09 players would hate to see RS go back to these old RS2 graphics. Opinions are opinions, it isn't what "made" RS.

 

It's pretty cool, I like the new update.

 

Personally runescape was fine before the new wave of graphic updates, it was unnecessary and ruined gameplay. I understand Jagex's perspective here to make it more appealing but they still dont understand that about 60% of RS players have probably played for over 3 years and want things which made the game fun, iron armour is basic, Why should it be given an update like this, personally I wouldnt mind with rune or higher but for a bare essential like this I think it was unnecessary.

And makes people QUIT. I have already moved on but... this just is the final blow. I think all that new armor is FUUgly.

So I'm quitting for the last time now haha.

Quitting before they RUIN the mithril and black and addy armor.

I think it looks much better, but it's a bit too light-colored for my taste.

 

Based on the pictures in these threads, the graphical updates to the F2P armours look pretty sweet. I don't know why they are bothering to update iron though, its like the shittiest armour in the game... I guess its for pures?

I do like the fact they took the wizard robes and added small magic bonuses to them. Its about time
