    can someone link me to a free guide on unlocking accounts because jagex don't seem to want to unlock mine when i put all the details in...

    There a lot of other people having problems with recovering/unlocking their OWN account.

    Just try to be patient.

    If anything, email Jagex at [email protected] explaining the situation.

    I don't think there are any guides:( I know it sucks but you will eventually get it unlocked if you keep trying :)

    Here is just a simple outline of what you would probably need:

    Recovery Questions: There is most likely not going to be any on the account, but if you can remember old ones, insert the answers into the boxes anyway.

    Membership Information: Little importance as it's easy to lose + can be set by anyone, although it may help.

    Contact Information: Medium importance, put earliest contact information known for the account.

    Passwords: First or second password is a must have. Jagex is pretty damn strict password - wise. Make sure that you have the earlier passwords in the boxed, not your most recent ones.

    Contact Information: Must have the created year and the location + one ISP box correct. This is needed for a successful appeal.

    Similar IP: Appealing from an IP similar / a country similar from where the account was created helps the appeal a lot. Appealing an account that was made in India from Australia wouldn't help your case at all.
