Ok, so if it was possible to dig to china, if the earth had no core and it was solid. If we would dig down all the way, when we reach china, wouldn't we be falling? little bit of a mindfucker

It's impossible, so no, it's not really a "mindfucker".

No cos once u reach the center... the core there is no gravity..u would pass it with momentum the just start falling back into the center heading the same way u came... Eventually just floating in the middle... This is leave the huge amounts of "IFs" out of heat, and it not being possible anyway.

This is idiotic. Earth's gravity pulls towards the center. If you were to dig a tunnel straight through, after you reach the center you would be digging up.

Where would you put the dirt from the tunnel? Behind you. Therefore you wouldn't fall back towards the center because you would be standing on the dirt you moved.

Hypothetically, if the dirt disappeared after you dug it out of the way, you would "fall" towards the center of the earth and when you reached the center you would stay there, unable to go in any direction.

As Sanct said, it's not a "mindfucker." You can explain the outcome of any possible scenario you can come up with.

    fool.

its not a mindfuck, but if you had a circular capsule, per say, in the middle of the earth, your center of gravity would stay in one spot and you would be floating.

Also if there was such a hole, you could jump in at 1 end and your momentum would propel you past the middle of the earth until you are pulled back by gravity like a bungee, that would be cool
