#Old Tags

Back when I had time to enjoy doing graphics I loved to make tags, here's just a few examples. No specific order, CnC Appreciated, again these are probably about a year old :3

Composition and color, the same mistakes are made in all of them. They're monochromatic and most renders are centered with little depth.

 

Try using the rule of thirds.

 

focus on render placement and lighting/contrast

also you need to start using http://mudcu.be/sphere/ to build a palette before you start the tag

learn to use dodge and burn, blurring and sharpening filters and layer settings in more detail

 

I like the scythe/clown one, especially the textures.

 

That is a displacement map with a light stock.
