Wiped for like 6th time this month

Sadly my main is locked to after trading over 3b and after trying numerous times cannot get it back got it back one time and next day locked again...I am original owner.

 

This will make rsgp go up if their constantly wiping rsgp from the game truely stupid in my opinion. Sorry man for your losses.

 

I believe the only safe way for me to trade now would be to trade off people's acc's directly.

 

what do you mean by that exactly? just curious.

 

I think he meant by logging on the buyer or sellers account himself and trade the gp.

Yep it sucks, but it's still all being done by Jagex manually.

You can't do that if you're selling on PA.

 

My method is to pretend your dicing the money....iv won over 500m and lost alot as well dicing, and never got banned or anything...its a good way to transfer money

 

Like I said to the other guy, alot of the sales go through PA.

You're going to need delivery proof (direct trade) for that, or you're getting to get scammed many, many times.

 

So does that mean, pretending to dice/duel to transfer the money is not possible within PA's rules?

 

It's not against the rules, but if you record it / make screenshots of it though it won't be legitmate proof of delivery for the Playerauctions investigation team.

So if the buyer disputes delivery or disputes the payment on paypal for example, you will have no proof and you won't get paid for your order.

At the moment, the only available delivery method on PA is Face-to-Face (direct trade).

 

It's not going to matter if someone from Jagex is buying the gold off you. I'm guessing they do two things :

1) Flag all unbalanced trades, but filter out those with matching IPs, as those are just cases of money being transferred from account to account, or among family members. Further filter out trades that are under say, 500M, because there is still too much gambling going to on in RS. So trades that are unbalanced 500M+ and not from the same IP are good candidates for RWT.

2) Manually come here and target the big traders, and setup trades with them. While It's in Sythe TOS that Jagex workers can not come here, it's not written law. This is probably what they do, and the most logical explanation as to why sellers like Punker and Arcus getting hit time after time. They are going to drive the large sellers out by making trading unprofitable through constant wipes.

 

I can see 1) happening but definitely not 2)... Jagex isn't going to waste the time/resources/money to come here and buys/sell gold from big sellers, just to clean them afterwards. If that were true, they would've permanently banned the IP's of the big sellers here and all the VPNs associated with them. I am pretty sure Jagex doesn't frequent Sythe or even powerbot. It's in their rulebook that we shouldn't visit these types of sites and that we shouldn't RWT. Why would Jagex break their own rules? Two wrongs don't make a right.

 

So one thing you guys can clear up for me since I'm fairly new at this. Why is it that so many RWT or bot websites are getting shut down but not sythe itself?
