So true Umbrella and I go to high school which makes it worse, I dont have a job but I still make quite a bit of money.

 

Here's a shocker: Unless you're in the r2pleasant/video leagues, then you are wasting your time trying to make a living off runescape. That shitty McDonalds job makes $10 an hour, which equates to roughly 14m. Unless you can make 14m an hour and have fun doing it, then I'd suggest getting real life job. On top of that, you'll gain responsibility, experience in the workforce, and a notch on your resumee for future applications.

 

The only reason i keep playing RS is to gamble my money away at Dragon Dyce.

Working at mcdonalds makes $7.25 an hour, not 10. which is 10m an hour, plus you get the embarrassment of working at mcdonalds with a bunch of scrubs. The only thing you gain there is the hatred of fast food.

Australia has good underage workforce policies so the pay here may be different to what it is in the US.

Sure, McDonalds is a semi-dirty job. Chances are you'll be working with people you're unlikely to have much in common with and you will probably encounter skin problems. Thankfully if you can't stand that there are always plushy jobs out there for teens. Go and work in a chain retail store and you'll get paid similar rates for not much effort.

 

I know I should get a real job and I wish i could but I live in the uk and the Legal Age to work is 16 I'm only 13, but it's still fun with the money - messing about staking it all away then earning more then gambling it all way

I also quit playing runescape, I just merch gp and make quite alot of money on the side.
It's not my job, I still go to college for the time being.

At this rate, I could make a living from it, though.

 

I wouldn't personally choose to use black market trading to derive a replacement living for myself - the experience, social skills, enjoyment, and variety of experiences ou get froma real job far outweigh that of RS.

Study hard, get your degree, continue with education or get a graduate job. Either way, you will enjoy it more than sitting on a PC for hours on end making cash from a game.
