Live Forever

What would you give up to live forever/choose your age?

Your limbs?
Ability to communicate?
Ability to see?
Loss of mental capacity (to the point where your IQ is double digit)

It mindfucks me to think of death. That my mind will cease to function and...I don't know how to describe it. What are your thoughts on death? If you died today would you be happy with your life/your contribution to society?

 

I can't be happy with my contribution to society as of right now, I think any student or teenager hasn't had enough time to really give back to the world, as we should be selfish at our age, so no, I would not be happy with my contributions however I havn't had the time to contribute.

Secondly, I wouldn't want to sacrifice anything for eternal life, I strongly believe everything happens for a reason and I always have faith upon a greater being, if my life was taken today I would accept it with hope.

 

Nothing. I'd rather die happily and grow old with someone I love.

 

I'm not really thrilled about my contributions to society, but I'm content enough to honestly say I wouldn't want to live forever.

All the trade-offs you listed are very vital parts of my everyday life, lol. I wouldn't give any of that up.

 

I wouldn't want to live eternally, to watch everyone I ever loved/cared about, die all around me, and theirs nothing I can do to prevent/stop it, I'd want to be like every other human being, but death is also a mindfuck too me as well, too know that our death is just being prolonged by god knows what, and that everything is eventually going to come to an end, mind-blowing.

 

I don't want to live forever. You'd lose people you love all the time, and eventually I think you'd want to just kill yourself.
