I found out mah sisters secret

My sister bought this dumb little chest thing (shes only 11 years old) where you can store stuff or something like that and it comes with a key to open it up..

I looked at it and stuck my fingernail in the hole or whatever and it opened lmao.. My friend Jimmy was standing right next to me and when it opened there was a blue piece of paper inside that my sister wrote on. Jimmy grabbed it and ran in my room since he was over at my house and i went in the room with him and he started reading it outloud.

It talked all about my sisters crush on one of my friends Andrew. It was pretty long and embaressing.. Well anyways, Jimmy said he is going to tell everyone at school about it and it will probably ruin her social life ......... How do I get him to NOT tell everyone? My sister is always teasing me and gets me in trouble almost everyday from her lies that for some gay reason my parents believe but even though she does that I still don't want Jimmy to tell everyone her secrets.. But yea like i asked before how do I convince him not to tell everyone?

Too late he told everyone and then she said most people already knew about it but they didn't know she wrote about him

 

I don't see what the problem is with just asking him not to do it? From the OP, it doesn't sound like you tried at all. Maybe mention how big of a deal this kind of stuff is in 5-6th grade, or atleast when I was in 5th and 6th. It doesn't ruin your social life (you don't have a social life in 5th and 6th grade), but it does bring on a lot of teasing.

Just like anything else though, it'll go away in time.

 

Be real with your friend Jimmy. He shouldn't be disrespectin yo family if he's a friend.

 

If he's a proper friend just ask him not to.
If he's an idiot, threaten him.

That is so harsh man... thank god the secret isn't really a big deal (or maybe it is at that age, I can't remember).

Not to be a dink but in the future you should leave your sister's secret box alone. I used to have something similar when I was a young kid and although there was nothing bad or embarrassing in it, it was one of the only private things I had to myself in a very small house filled with 3 younger brothers, my parents, and my grandpa. It felt nice knowing that I had my own secret box and that nobody else would touch it/disturb it. Try to respect your sister's space in the future.

If she has a crush on the kid, Jimmy's kinda helping her, or at least that's how I see it lol

 

Just for future reference, where I'm from; If someone runs their mouth about your sister, your mother, or anyone in your family (And blatantly intends to embarrass/hurt them), it's grounds to pop 'em in the face. It's happened.

Don't let people run over you like that, if you want someone to keep their mouth shut, you need to make sure they shut it. That's not cool, and you shouldn't allow people to treat you like that.
