Are you happy with your body?

Are you happy with how your genetics have determined the shape of your body, pigment, height, and so on?

What I mean by work on it:

For example, if you go to the gym to lose weight or get a 6-pac, that would classify as 'working on it'. Or if you play sports with a motive to keep your body in shape, that would classify as 'working on it'.

    Fuck yes,
Especially nowadays, you better be grateful if you don't have any deformity's and so on, it could always be worse, but thank god for the better.

Happy with everything except for my nose and hair. My nose isn't exactly something I can work on, nor is my hair, its just so damn straight all the time. Really thin too. I wouldn't mind being a few inches taller, but supposedly I'm going to reach 5'9 which is fine with me.

I'd definitely say I'm happy, and have gotten over whatever insecurities I've had in the past 3 years.

Im pretty sexy. You see, I was born sexy. How? Because my dad was some super strong weight lifter person, and my mom had awesome hair.

When I was born, I got my dads super awesome muscle body, and my moms super awesome soft brown curly hair.

I'm between happy and unhappy with my body, so I won't vote.

I don't work out or anything, but I look fit with a shirt on. But I seem to have a lot of fat in my stomach only, which I want to get rid of. Height, not unhappy, and not happy either. I'm short, 5'6 in height, just turned 18. Haven't grown for a while, and I want to be at least 5'8. Being this short hasn't really bothered me much, but I feel like it eventually will.

i'm blessed with height, but my weight is just really lacking. it's cool because i've accepted the inheritance of skinny genetics, but i'm hoping to do something about it this year - get shredded 2012. other than that i'm content with everything else.

I'm fairly blessed genetics-wise; I'd describe myself as well-rounded. I'm happy with my body but I think there's definitely room for improvement:

    - 5'10 (though I'd like to hit 6 foot)
    - 65kg (probably could do with an extra 10-15kg, but at this age the six pack and shoulders are always something to show off ;) )
    - No physical or mental deformities

Are you happy with your body?

I'm pretty grateful for it because I know it could be worse but I'm not exactly satisfied with it. As far as weight goes, I've struggled with keeping above the underweight level my whole life, I have a lightning fast metabolism (which I'm sure will catch up on me) and I rarely put on pounds when eating a lot of food. A lot of people would consider this a blessing, but I sometimes have troubles eating and can go days on end while only eating a few bites of food and not feel hungry or have any appetite whatsoever, people and research tell me it's a minor marijuana withdrawal symptom because through extensive habitual use my brain has learned to associate weed with food (and sleep) (always happens when I run out and always fixes when I get more). I'm about 6'2 and hit my highest peak of 155 lbs at some point last year, last time I checked I was at 150 but I've probably been losing more since then. Exercising would probably help me but I just don't have the personality or willpower to commit to it.

My height has always been something I've enjoyed and I have a pretty nice shoulder frame shape, but a frame is just a frame. Weights something I need to get more of. Some other annoyances about my body are that I have hereditary body acne (shoulders, chest, back, plus the usual face acne) which I've been being medicated for with a cream, but it never removes it all and it returns over time, I'm considering a prescription for Accutane but I've heard it's pretty dangerous. My hair is a different colour than my body hair, the hair on my head is blond (it seems like its transitioning darker, it almost looks grey or silver in some lighting), while my body hair is all dark brown - pretty much black. I'm pretty notorious for having blond hair and big bushy black eyebrows - which is another thing I'm unhappy about.

Looking back I just typed out a shitload, I covered more than just fitness aspects but ah well lol
TLDR it could be worse for sure but not completely

Are you happy with your body?

I'm not quite sure about my body....
I have a pretty big self-confidence issue, so I'm always seeing flaws in myself and hate a lot of parts of me - I also have a mindset where I think everyone notices these flaws and sees these shitty things. I go through stages where I try and work on my body, but I always lack the motivation to continue a month or so in.

I guess I rely on natural exercise like skating and surfing as well as genetics to remain slim and a slight build-up of muscle primarily in my shoulders.

Are you happy with your body?

I love my genetics, and currently have an amazing physique ( in my opinion) for a 17 year old, however I will ALWAYS be working on my body until I gain the physique I want (like an Arnold but smaller)

    6'2
    85kg

Gain weight fairly easy, very mesomorphic, bulking all year and hopefully continue to make strength gains as I get older, only thing I can criticize is I'm starting to lose 20/20 vision!

And I also wouldn't have my foundation if it wasn't for my father's massive appetite, and my mother's amazing calves ;)

I'm happy as I am, but I wouldn't mind beefing up my arms a bit.

Are you happy with your body?

I'm pretty sure I'm losing my 20/20 as well now haha, when they were tested for my driving test last year(not a full medical exam) I was at 20/20 and always was before that but I've been having trouble reading smaller text lately, mostly on the computer which is displayed on my 40 inch TV which is about... 3 feet from my bed where I use it lol. Haven't had an eye check in years so I'm getting on that soon. I'm the only one in my family that so far hasn't needed glasses so it's probably about my time haha

    6' and about 155 pounds, I guess that'd be 183cm and 70 kg?

    :edit:
I'm average/slim build, just wish I was stronger/an inch taller. Dooood tall girls are the best..... 5'7-5'9 is my ideal girl

Are you happy with your body?

Im in the process of bulking up at the moment. Trying to get my six pack back, so close, but I think I need to just do cardio to get the lower abs to pop out now...which, I don't want to because I am bulking up lol. I weigh 146.6lbs (as of this morning) and am between 5'7 and 5'8. People have always said I am pretty buff, but I never think so. I am trying to get the biggest arms possible. I like being a small guy, but being able to lift more than 90% of the guys in the gym. Makes me feel good :). I used to be very insecure about my acne, but I kept working on it, eating more healthy, taking fish oil, using ointments, and it is almost gone. That REALLY boosted my self-esteem especially.

Are you happy with your body?

I agree! I hate having to bend just to kiss a girl.

As far as my genetics, I wasn't exactly blessed with awesome ones, but I'm perfectly healthy. My family is known for their overweightness, but I was blessed with a slim figure (except when I was a teen).
I'm 6'2 and I love girls taller than my waist lol, weight about 187 right now. About 16% BF which I west down from 24% from when I was overweight. Currently working towards a nice 6 pack for when summer begins in like 3 months. But overall I'm happy, and getting happier everyday! I'm currently working to be a Nutritionist, and maybe even get some certifications in fitness training...maybe. I'd say I've gotten over most my insecurities, except I still got a slight beer belly, and my hair is out of control almost always lol
