    PA Mysteries and Bullshit

First a mystery. So I list 24 units of 50m (=1.2b) in my shop. However somehow over 1.2b was actually ordered from that sale offer. I list 1.2b yet PA lets my shop take orders exceeding 1.2b and they blame me for negligence when I don't have the stock to make the extra deliveries.

Also, when I put in units of 50m, how is it that people can order 60m and 70m? I thought people had to buy in increments of 50m from my shop?

    Now some bullshit..

    Selling 100m for $79
    PA disburses $70.12

So on a $79 order they take a fee of $8.88.

10% on a $79 order is $7.90, yet PA charges me $8.88. So apparently without announcing it they changed the seller fee to 11.25% from what it was previously, 10%. When did I miss this update? And they also charge their buyers a fee, which previously they didn't but at least they announced this.

I don't know about the first part, but PA fees are 9.9% and $1, which explains why you paid a larger fee than expected.

I would always double check your shop to see if its really what you intended it to be. Sometimes you might mess up on the units, etc. If you did do this, then I'd most likely report it as a bug to them so that they know whats happening. And on the second part, just like Pockets has said, it is 9.99% + .99 for the fee now for PayPal disbursements. Beforehand it was 9.99% + 1.99 fee. About a few months ago now, they lowered the 1.99 fee into .99 and made the buyers actually have to pay more on checkout. To them, this was a way for them to see prices go down in the market because of semi better payout fees for the merchants and it would attract more people to their websites, which will generate more revenue for them. It makes complete sense. :p

But not all buyers are happy paying a fee that at one time they didn't have to pay.

My shop is in check, this isn't the first time it has happened to me which is why I am baffled, unless I am doing something wrong. I put in a unit = 50m. Is there something else I am missing?

Im pretty sure there was always a one time fee for PayPal transactions for the buyers, just not as big of one as it is now.

If your Currency Per Unit is 50M's and you are getting 60M orders then yeah, there is something wrong lol. If you can handle talking to their customer support, then I'd try telling them the problem your having. But, the most you might get is the simple "please wait while I check with the relevance team" response first. Lol. It would suck like you said in your first post if you had to deliver something you didn't have in stock.

While talking about something baffling, may I also share this for a quick laugh -

Also, i'd like to add that this guy did this twice to me. I am not sure if he was trolling me or not but was a good laugh at first to say the least lol.

    ^lol

Anyway I talked to one of the odd order placers and all I could dissect is it has something to do with the search for gp option. I asked him how he found me and he said he searched for 60m prices and took it from there. So I think by using the search option people are being able to bypass the unit restriction.

Ah, problem solved. I just did a quick search on PA for 60M's, and your PA did in fact pop up and I was able to click the buy button without having to go to your sales offer directly. It stored the 60M in my shopping cart lol. Weird. I wonder if this is intentional or if its something that PA needs to work on. Surely if you wanted it in increments of 50M's... you'd want it to sell in 50M's, lol. This would totally mess up your sales offer... instead of 1 50M unit being knocked off, if they order 60M it will knock off 2 units and you'd have to edit your offer constantly.

I'm almost positive when you do it that way it doesn't knock of any units, meaning in the end I could end up not having enough gp to fill orders. In the past 2 days i've been in this situation with 2 different sales offers. I never listed more stock then I had, yet in the end I didn't have enough gp to fill all the orders. PA fail.
