15-99 Herblore / Under 100M

INTRO
Hello fellow Sythers
This is just a little guide I have put some time into to make YOU save time searching and searching so you can save a massive amount of GP if you're wanting to train Herblore.
Before I had even trained herblore at a mass xp amount, I had only gotten 1-40 herblore and I stopped because I didn't know what I was doing and it ended up costing me about 15M
After doing A LOT of research, asking around & calculations I came to the conclusion that Serum 207 potions were one of the smartest ways of getting 15 to 84/89/96/99 Herblore.


TIME/SPEED
Okay, I know it sounds like alot, 150k-230k potions.
(usually when making potions its 800-1k pots per hour)
That would mean 160-250 hours gameplay right?
But...
Making Serum-207's is 1300-2000 potions per hour - because your char makes them x2 faster than making other standered potions such as Prayer potion(3)'s.

1-99 herblore in an easy 4 days. it will cost about 90M
Which isn't much considering doing it the easy way can be sometimes up to 400M+

UNLOCK THE POTION
Made by mixing a tarromin herb and ashes in a vial of water (level 15 herblore required)
To make Serum 207's you need to START a quest called "Shades of Mort'on"

Make your way to the town of Mort'ton, in the southern part of Mort Myre Swamp.
Once you have reached the town, locate the small building in the south west, you should notice it on the mini map as it is full of broken glass. Search the table and then the shelf to obtain some herbs and a diary. Read the diary to discover what has happened to the residents of Mort'ton. You should now have started the quest.
- teleport back to a bank to start making Serum207's because you will be able to now


^ ^ The pink arrow is pointed to the house where the shelf is and the table is where you check them for the Herbs/Book to start the quest.


EXPERIENCE/GP
Exp/Gp
You get 50 Xp per potion
Its about 400 gp per potion
1K potions = 50k Xp
10K potions = 500k Xp
20K potions = 1M Xp
8M Rsgp = 1M Xp

13M xp = 240k ish potions(if you do the full 15-99 without Recovery Specials which is about 80-90M all up)



MY OTHER METHOD (100M-150M Gp)
One of the the BEST ways:
1. 150k serums 15-84
2. 30k Recovery Specials 84-99

Recover Specials are 200 Xp per mix, they're not as fast mixing as Serum 207's, they're standered speed(Such as Prayer potion(3)'s)
They're 15% more expensive than Serum 207's but they're x3 faster Exp at an xp rate of 290-310K xp/h while Serum 207's are at 80-100K xp/h

it's too slow for me, 80k-100k/hr, I just spend those hours that I save with doing super energy potions with making money which is better.

but at the moment it is around 12 gp per exp. so i will quickly research to make sure it is still all good.

Time is money. I would pay a little bit more and get the levels multiple times faster. This method seems very reasonable until one can mix extreme potions though.

 

Or you can do it right and use price fluctuations to your advantage and end u paying <50M. I did serums too, when I got my 94 herb. But that was ages ago.

Apparently, to begin Shades of Mort'ton, you must complete Priest in Peril, and to have started Nature Spirit (which requires completion of The Restless Ghost).

Nice guide, I was thinking about getting 99 herblore soon, anyone know if this is outdated or no?

 

So, are you saying that you lose 100-150m if you do the spec restore pots to 99? or how much is it in total. Someone PM me ASAP

i'm going to say no, the fact is that you only lose 90-100m so regardless if they do anything it makes herblore a load of alot cheeper :3 i'm going to check the prices on this soon and maybe update this guide, because ashes are alot of gp

 

i got 99 herb from this. spent around 150m at the time. herbs where a bit higher then they are not.
