Is there anyway to cancel recoveries?

I personally sent a message to jaGex tech support and said i've been inactive for over a year, and someone stole my account. here is proof I am the original owner: "etc. etc. etc." and minutes later they were gone. But ofc, all of the above was true.

 

Yes there is a way, Get your account locked, and then unlock it.

 

Cancel: Just login on you're account and cancel them?
Delete: recover you're account, then change password before you get a message from runescape that you're account appeal has been accepted. Then recover locked account and b00m you're recovery's magicly dissapeard.

 

Or just change your password while you are in game..

Is there a reason they removed to ability to cancel them in the last Homepage update? It seems stupid you can only change them...

 

As mentioned already.. just recover the account w/o password/email. Works errytime.
