I have £8,000 to invest in the RS Blackmarket, what should I do?

I thought this would be the most appropriate forum since I will be investing in the blackmarket and cheating and the investing forum is dead.

OK guys so recently I have inherited £8,000 and I am wondering what is the best way to make money on it.

I am 17 years old, full time student. I also work in a bank part time.

I've been looking at gold trading but there is barriers to entry. i.e. reputation build up, competition, profit margin dwindling, rollbacks.

Anyone with experience on Sythe and especially in these markets, it would be great to hear from you. I am willing to put a lot of time and effort into this and I feel that I have relevant economic knowledge and hard work to succeed.

I am also willing to buy business models or invest.

I wouldnt bother with the runescape market.

Go to your local bank and have a meeting with a advisor and invest irl instead.

 

To be honest, you don't have many options. Right now the market is fairly flooded with gold sellers, so you're right about that being a poor decision. Investing your time/money into a bot farm might be worthwhile since you have such a nice amount of start-up capital, but the current bot farms take a lot of time and maintenance. Some other profitable black-market ventures include making a gambling clan in-game, learning how to stake with 60%+ chance of winning, and many others.

Why don't you just invest into a real-life asset?

 

If you have inherited that much you would just be better off keeping it in the bank and letting it collect interest.

But... if you want to take a portion f that money and invest in the RS black market so ahead and give it a try, it will take some time to get trusted as much as the top sellers here on sythe, plus there's tons of competition now.

You would honestly be better off investing in something irl.

Kero, I was thinking of a bot-farm, but my knowledge of scripting is minimal and as soon as a free and easy to use program comes out the gold price will again drop as more people farm so that seems pointless.

In game gambling clan? What methods can you use to gamble nowadays in RS?

Well, your first remark about bot farms is true. Right now it's hard to get one started up, but there are some worthwhile farms out there. They are just under-the-radar because the people who do own them don't want to leak the bot and have competition. If you keep an eye out and know who to ask, you can get a workable script that can run multiple accounts for $200-1000. A workable public client like RSBuddy is a double-edged sword. For one thing, you can basically goldfarm for free (the cost of membership and dedicated servers is mostly negligible), but prices will also inevitably drop. Still, even under the old market conditions, a decent script at 250k GP/hr could have net you $50-200 a day if you had a big enough farm.

RS gambling clans are basically the sad attempts at a dicing clan from a few months ago. The old model of the dicing clan was to use the in-game dice to roll a number 1 to 100. Hosts stacked the odds enough in their favor (either 55% or 60%) so that enough of the desperate "get rich now" kids would pay for their gambling hosting. Jagex nerfed it, but there are still more underground clans these days. A lot of the more popular ones take advantage of the SwiftKit IRC client and use "IRC dicing." Like selling gold, setting up a dicing clan takes a lot of initial risk because of the huge competition. Still, I can't say that they aren't profitable. Look at Dragon Dyce, which has made hundreds of billions in the last year.

The staking with more than 60% chance involves taking advantage of some game mechanics, having the right account, and skill. The only worthwhile staking types are maxed boxing and maxed rapier stakes. (This means you'll basically need a 99-99-99 account with 80 dungeoneering as a minimum.) With both, you can take advantage of PiD, style switching, using a CLS strategically in a rapier box, selecting the right opponents, etc. to boost your odds of a win to at least 60%. I'm sure as a bank teller, you know that 60% odds in gambling mean a surefire win in the longrun.


If you need more explanation of anything I said, just let me know. The concepts are kind of complicated, but I had a lot of them so I didn't want to go into detail for every little bit.

 

Training a maxed staker would leave me with 50/50 chance of winning?

invest in mac or pay a private scripter to make you a opengl sorc garden bot and not a green drag killer as I have seen tgreen drags are way to overpopulated. Hope I could've helped

 

I would talk to pockets about his bot he is offering resale rights to it for around 3k usd. I would with that invest in a nice computer and make a bot farm, huge profits and then sell the bot on your own website after getting resale rights.

 

I'd suggest you don't try any bot unless the code is avaliable or theres video or lots of post review about it.

Wait for a couple of weeks, there is a couple good website selling premium scripts out very soon.

 

Why don't you learn to script yourself and find out a method that works for you and go with it.

 

because even if you can script doesn't mean you can code a client which is far harder to do than writting a script.

 

RS gold market now is very very tough. Too much competition and a lot of headaches to deal with. If you're really committed, give it a shot but don't expect any miracles. This is a high risk business so don't invest more than you're willing to lose.

 

Invest it through your bank, just collect interest no point spending it all on a game, you could maybe invest a little in a bot farm but I wouldn't spend lots.

 

Your better of investing in Stocks or just having fun with the money!
But if i were you i'd invest a good $500 into an in-game flower gambling clan!
and invest a good $2k for a partyhat and gear. before you know it you'll make the money back and be having loads of fun at the same time! i mean earning 10% is awesome!

Just keep it in the bank for a rainy day. The RS market is not worth it.
