Rs gold prices?

I've been hearing a lot of rumors regarding a potential explosion in price of black market rs gold and rares. Any experts wanna chime in?

 

Its not an explosion, its just the gold prices have raised slightly due to the removal of botting. I assume this will lower once a stable bot comes out.

 

I don't see an "explosion" in RSGP prices, in fact I don't even see them going over a $1-$1.20 ever. They fluctuate a little, but with the amount of gold in the economy, and how easy it is to obtain, it will always be cheap.

 

To be honest, rising from ~$.50/m up to the current prices of $.80/m is a true explosion if you consider RS a "world currency."

The rising prices are due to the following:

• Massive GP resets amounting to hundreds of billions of lost gold to the black market
• Removal of dicing taking out a huge gold siphon directly into the black market
• The bot nuke killing all of the reflection-based gold farms and limiting the effectiveness of massive goldfarming by adding in the 6-hour "client token failure."

 

Agreed. These events have created a lucrative anti-inflationary effect but I wonder just how long it will last and how high it will reach. The time is truly ripe for rs gold speculators!

I think 'explosion' is a fairly accurate term for what's happening now. In a relatively short period of time, rs gold has already appreciated more than 50%! I know we're not talking about USD EUR and so on but it is impressive regardless.
