Is it just me or?

Is there a serious lack of activity from mods in the 'report a scammer' section. I was having a little look through them because I told a guy to report someone(He was fairly new and got scammed) and there hasn't been anything done about it when theres clearly enough evidence. So this made me wonder I started trailing through and there were plenty of threads with sufficent evidence going un-noticed. I understand you obvisouly can't do it instantly but im fairly sure this section used to be a lot more active.

 

Scam reports are optional for staff, no-one is required to do them, but obviously they do need to be done.. Generally its a globals job, but sectionals normally do them to progress on their staff position.

Please bear in mind that we're all sythe.org users, just like you guys, who definitely do not have the time, or patience, to sit on sythe.org all day and make sure everything is done instantly. Especially considering the current site issues too, which hinders the ability to moderate quite a lot.

We do try our best to keep on top of scam reports though, but the fact is, they're tedious and most staff enjoy doing something else. However, it has been worse than this in the past, two pages is actually moderately good.

There's just one page in the Report a Scammer section, I remember back in the day there could be up to 10 pages. I think, compared to previous moderator teams, they are doing a fantastic job and deserve to be recognised for there efforts.

Yes, there are much less scam reports than there were. It's good to see the staff take the time to go through them.

 

Trying to keep them down to less than 1 page, but sometimes they just get past you.

 

Best thing i can tell you, and to anyone who reads this, if your scammed and your 100% sure it's that person, link the RASC thread on any page their selling on to warn others, and await for a mod to handle it, i personally have had my reports handled within a few hours.
