So someone is asking me to sell them a upgrade but they are banned, they are willing to use a mm [rsprod] but I think this is against the rules is it not? I know other people have gotten banned for even associating with a banned member.

They're obviously banned from Sythe for a reason, so why you would take that step into putting your trust into them, is beyond anyone, and almost is down right retarded.

 

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned this yet, but be sure that the MM isn't a rsprod impostor. It's very likely that he has a specific MM in mind because he will try to add a fake one to steal whatever you give him.

For that reason, be sure to carefully check the MSN address and to get a PM from whoever they claim will be MMing.

 

A middle man that is respected here will not deal with banned members

 

I disagree; it all depends on the circumstances. If a banned member was willing to do a RSGP trade for WU or something like that a trusted MM could easilly facilitate that.

OP: In your case I would be very careful; possibly the MM is an imposter on msn/ if the upgrade is a pay by phone or something like that he can charge it back once he has the RSGP from the middleman and you will actually have negative credit

 

Basically, if the member is banned, it means that the trade is basically not associated with Sythe. If you can find a MiddleMan willing to do it, sure, go ahead. But it might be harder as MiddleMen don't want to have to deal with scams, and trading with a banned member increases the risks.
