How to stop people from claming refund on an item that they bought?

    Hey guys!

Ive seen this countless times, sellers sell buyers accounts and the buyers claim a refund and keep the steam account to themselfs, what measures can be taken to stop the buyers from doing so? Is there anything that I could get him/her to sign on the description when sending the cash?

Also is receiving money as gift safer as a seller?

Hey, Sorry I think I posted this in the wrong section, I was talking about Steam and Origin trades in general.

I am talking about the payment itself, Ive sold several accounts before to find out that the buyer has issued a refund and took the account with him, I am asking if there is any way of preventing that from happning, maybe make the buyer put a small note of some sort in the description of the money that he is about to send..

    Any suggestions?

Umm not possitive but have them send the money as a Gift and in the bottom attach a note saying.

"I am the owner of this Paypal account, this is NOT a unauthorized payment, I am sending this Gift to you for a Service/Item that I have already recived and I am happy with. I will not file a Unauthorized claim on this Gift."

And have them put there name and or driver licenes number at the bottom or somthing idk, I think them attaching a note of that kind would help prevent any type of charge backs.

Please note that I am NOT Positive that this will work, it is just a idea of mine, Please feel free to post back because I am eager as well to see the replys to this thread sense im opening up my website now and I will be starting to accept paypal now as a form of payment.

Remember that this isn't 100% foolproof. PayPal has always been an issue, I've had buyers scam me multiple times be disputing the payment, and PayPal won't help you out because they don't support the trading of virtual goods.

Your best bet is to use a different company or currency. You could make an AlertPay/Moneypak/Western Union account, where you can't be scammed when the payment is sent, or accept payments in RSGP, and then sell the RSGP to a very trusted member on Sythe, who won't scam you, for PayPal money.
