ranging at monsterous cave crawlers with 1 defence?

Just want to know is it possible? rock crabs suck, bandits also suck, and these seem to be a good place as you can pray against them? I obv cannot go daggs coz the melee will own me if i protect range n vice versa

So, can i go there with one defence?

 

whats wrong with bandits? just use knives and cannon

 

bandits often pile on top of each other and the cannon only hits one out of maybe 5 in the same place, want something, similair to dagganoths where i can hit multiple mobs constantly, hense the question.

 

maybe try some monsters out in chaos tunnels?

I go there all the time for slayer tasks and it is a fantastic spot to cannon them for ranged exp. If you brought knives with you and stood in the center of the cannon, it would be pretty awesome ranged exp. They also drop alot of charms, herbs, and have one of the best effigy drop rates in the game

You can go to cave crawlers at any defense level. Just bring some antipoisons.

Either way, neither dungeon has a defense-level requirement. To get to the level 138 cave crawlers, you'll need to have 85 combat though. Just bring a masked earmuffs or whatever they are instead of a full slayer helmet.
