If I had the choice Obama vs Ron Paul I would vote Ron Paul. He seems to be straight forward with exactly how he feels on certain topics. Unlike Romney who is a money hungry scum bag who used to work at a company who

Obama promised to have bring home the troops in 16 mos. There are STILL troops in Iraq. >.> Not as many, sure, but that doesn't mean they're all out.

Failing to meet any promises or maintain any policy makes him look like an ass... if he gets a second term, America is truly stupid.

 

I'm hoping Ron Paul will win the election this year, it's clearly obvious people will vote for him when the election starts.

Unfortunately, no. There are still many troops in Iraq because organizing their removal is not exactly a simple thing to do. That takes time, money, and lots of energy.

 

Obama because the only way the republicans can win is if they pull together. They're all divide right now on trivial issues like "I am more republican than you are."

Also Ron Paul has as much chance to get the nomination as I do. He isn't electable as a president. Mitt Romney is the only one of the republican candidates that is electable. Ron Paul just doesn't have that quality, and also if you look at the caucus' then it clearly shows a majority favoring Mitt Romney and if they all try to jockey for position right up into the National Convention then it is going to drive a wedge into the party.

And people give Obama a bad wrap because of their limited understanding of politics, especially if you watch Fox news and all they do is bash people who don't agree with their right-wing nut job politics. It's quite silly to see a move towards progressiveness mocked and defamed because of general hate or ignorance. I mean I fear that we will be in war up to our neck again of a Republican gets in office, as I have followed several members and seen many of their interviews.

They're definitively out..... They started the draw down months ago.

 

I just got back from the area for a business trip. There are less than 200 soldiers remaining from what I learned. Personally, I supported Obama last election because I did not want a republican again, wanted change. As of now I do not like anyone. Ron Paul makes A TON OF SENSE. But I still do not fully support some of his personal ideals(very picky I know). Other candidates in the republican debate infuriated me yesterday. I would love for Ron Paul to win the nomination but, because of the older generations, it will not happen.

Realistically, money will win the republican nomination. Unless a story that wrecks his reputation is released, I expect Romney to win the nomination but lose to Obama. I think the wealthy older generations like Romney (my grandparents for instance) because they would like to continue to live how they have lived since the 60s. Younger generations (25-18) are tired of all of the, for lack of a better word, bullshit that is going on in Washington.
