Runescape now has ads on login...

and tortillas, of all things lolol

 

How does this even affect you?

It takes 30seconds if you are world hopping instantly. As long as the ad doesn't intrude on this, I see no problem?

 

in my opinion, i think if they are wanted that money so bad, they should let users buy banned accounts back. I thought they were going to do something like this with that BAR thread but im not sure..

You guys are all acting ridiculous. Losing 10 seconds of your life, relax. Hell you waste more time on Youtube ads, and I dont see you guys making threads about that anywhere, or how its an all time low for a company?

Get over it, its 10 seconds. Even after all your 10 second world hops have built up too whole minutes (oh god a minute), the reality is you've probably spent more time opening gates/doors, or waiting for places in RS to load.

 

Not sure why everyone's complaining, most games are pay to play anyways, If this bothers you so much then just buy members..

 

I am actually getting this problem (I am members on multiple accounts)

When you are about to login a 45 second add will play, so I downloaded the client to use instead.

Guess what? If the client does not load the adds it used to say "could not load add's - closing down," seriously Fagex?

Why are you people complaining? I guess people will always find SOMETHING to complain about.

 

I'm pretty sure that's referring to the adds on top of the game client, as the ad's wouldn't load when you open the client, but after you try login in, also I wasn't aware that this was happening to P2P accounts

 

How they are offering their game to you to play for FREE. Do you guys flip out every time you watch a youtube video and there's a add on it? It's not like they're all over the place, I've yet to get one. If you have a problem get membership, problem solved.

 

What? RS is selling out? since when?
This would be a big deal if it wasn't F2P only.

 

I think that Jagex has every right to use any kind of ads on their game/site.

 

i've gotten these adds before but gladly i dont get them anymore lol But it's pretty annoying i hate when jagex gets greedy and ruins our gameplay with ways to make them more rich :/

 

RuneScape is dying... They want more and more money...

 

Because this totally just ruins your gameplay.

 

I recently logged onto my F2p Pure for the first time in a while and I also got one of these ads but mine was for Healthy fiesta pet food or some shit XD Not too bad as i was hopping worlds but if this can happen during game play or upon login i will be pissed off.
