Pals vs. Pixels

I have videos of myself doing this, but its my friends trading me.

Because what runescape is, it's really important..to me at least to be honest and avoid scamming ect.. It ruins the game. There arnt many people out there that are willing to help anyone that needs it and its kind of sad but thats the hard facts about the game :/

 

I could never trust anyone with that kind of money on rs. It would be too easy just to log and block, then keep that.

 

I can't trust anyone on the internet with that much, unless I know them IRL, but I would def give any amount of money back if they had to let me hold it. Then if they're nice they could give me some money for holding it for something.

 

I have 2 RuneScape friends, that I would trust with it, and I am sure they wouldn't scamm me. If they would to trade me billions, I wouldn't hesitate to give it back. Back in 2010, some of my friends asked me to hold their rares, so they can invest more.

 

When I first read this I thought straight away hell no. I would never do that, but then I actually start thinking about those I have played games with. And there is one person that I met in game, but is in our skype calls daily etc, and is far richer than me and I would trust him with my bank 100%. So my response would be yes I could be trusting enough. But it would take someone over 3 years of knowing me, and knowing so much about them. I don't think any scammer has that patience.

 

Hell yeah. I have some amazing friends I've known for years strictly via RS and I would trust them with my account and all that.

 

I just met this new kid yesterday on a Slayer task, and we began chatting. He asked me to add him and I agreed, as he seemed like a very nice kid.

However, he PM's me once I leave and after a few minutes chatting back and forth, he tells me that he has a 'question' that he needs my opinion on. I tell him OK, and then he proceeds to explain to me that he has this really good friend online who he has never met in real life, who trusts him with his password to go on his account. Well the kid has 16M in cash and items combined (his entire bank's worth) just sitting there, and this kid was asking me for advice and whether he should take the 16M to put towards his Bandos goal or not?

Needless to say, I fucking flipped out at him. I was just so appalled that somebody would even THINK of fucking over one of their best friends on RS for a puny 16M. Kids on this game these days honestly digust me.

 

^ Yeah, but basically what he's just gonna do now is wait for the guy to get more gp, I'm sure the guy you were describing has his price to scam for.

 

Oh, I am sure of it too. He assured me that it was a stupid idea and that he would never go through with it, but he is just tempted to, but I removed him from my list anyways.

Its just so sad how willing people are to fuck over total strangers because the internet provides them such a cloak of anonymity. People like that disgust me.
