Need Ideas please!

I want to build something special in MineCraft but I have no inspiration...
Please give me some ideas! (like stuff with redstone, buildings,...)

There are many things you could build in minecraft, are you looking for things that are useful to survival, or just things that look cool? Also will you be using survival or creative?

 

Underwater city, I found it difficult and fun to do =)

Build St. Peter's Basilica! Simple enough, pillars, slightly octagonal shaped Square (not the shape square, but the wide open stone-floored center) and the church etc

 

Build the grand exchange
