Not trying to be discouraging but I really think motivation sources from the determination you have to meet your specifications and the assistance of a personal trainer at the gym. From my experience, a personal trainer at the gym will push you to your limits. When I do exercises individually I used to do exercises until it hurt a little, but now I push myself to the limit.

The point of this is that I recommend you to try your local gym and use a personal trainer from there.

You cant get motivation from others. Motivation comes from your heart. If your willing to do the work, and know your capable of doing it then do it! NO one is stopping you!
    REMEMBER!
    Drink supplements, Protein etc.

There are two types of motivation to an individual, basically they are categorized as 'intrinsic' motivation and 'extrinsic" motivation.

Intrinsic motivation is personal motivators, these are the strongest motivators and should be based by any athlete or individual, intrinsic motivations are things such as the love for the sport, passion, setting personal goals, family tradition.

Extrinsic motivation should not be relied upon, and are motivators like prize money, fame, trophies, money.

My recommendation to you would be to set yourself some goals, and stick to it, try and beat your goals everytime, e.g. setting what you can bench press now and training for 4-5 weeks and seeing if you made improvements.

As for the 10lbs of muscle thing, his pretty much correct, you will only gain more than 10lbs of muscle if your a newbie, and that's not having lift a weight ever, you might make more gains then but when you've been lifting for a while, that 10lbs of muscle sums it up pretty well.

Well, he may be banned but he's right on not gaining 10lbs of muscle in 1 month(In a year is a completely different story), it all comes down to genetics.
However, I hope you don't get disappointed but there's no way, and I repeat and bold, no way you'll reach such a strength level if you are an average person.
This kind of exercises and movements aren't determinable by how much muscle mass you have, it's all about strength.
If you still want my help, pm me.

If u get a set of dumbbells, and a bench that can go from flat to incline, I could give u an workout routine for there upper body. 4 days workout 3 days rest.

If you eat clean, sleep well & train like an animal, you'll become a monster.

I am currently in the progress of becoming a PT, and have 1 years personal experience in lifting

I'm currently under training to become a personal health trainer, so I can help you out; no problem.

And as a bboy, planches are one of my main goals. I'm so determined to get them atm that I made my own set of paralettes, and I can post pictures if you want.

There's only a week left till Jan 29. and I doubt that you can reach that 10lb+ muscle goal if you start now, but I certainly can help.

Even a person with good genetics in the field of muscle gaining, most he could gain in a year is 10 lbs. Hardgainers or average people usually only get 5lbs per year, and this is all with a strict eating plan and 3-4 times of weight training a week, with no flaws whatsoever. There is a point in which it's possible to gain 10lbs in 3-6 months is if you're undergoing puberty, with good genetics, with a good eating plan, and exercise like crazy. Other wise good luck! *studying to be a nutritionist* (Only way you could gain 10 lbs in such a short time is if you do steroids; and you don't wanna do that..)
