Sometimes, while accessing sythe.org, a download is started name downloag.gz or whatever.

I don't appreciate you guys installing random shit onto my computer.

 

I believe it's a glitch and not intentional.

 

Whatever the fuck it is, they need to fix it.

Same thing is happening to me contact a admin and tell him to fix this because its getting really annoying and it keeps doing it might want to contact him via MSN? or PM.

It's an issue that Sythe is aware of and working to fix. All the file contains is html of the page you were trying to load, no one is "installing random shit onto your computer".

 

It's just fragments of useless code, it's entirely harmless. Sythe is aware of the problem and it should hopefully be fixed soon. For now, refreshing the page will fix the problem.

 

The way sythe.org loads is that they compress the page into gzip, and then sends you it which then your page re-opens it normally.. this is to keep down bandwidth.. the thing is due to website attacks/or other problems, the sending gets interrupted but the page still tries to loads, so it loads whatever its received, which is essentially broken code.

Sythe will be fixing this as soon as possible.

 

^All that and you don't have to come and be such an ass. There is a glitch in the software and its going to be fixed. You shouldn't assume we are being malicious because that just isn't fair.

 

Lost packets are resend and browser wouldn't load until receiving completed HTTP code. Must be something else having to do with nginx and gzip module.

Speaking of malicious activity:

Malewarebytes anti-maleware keeps setting of a WARNING whenever I visit sythe.org:

"Successfully blocked access to a potentially malicious website".

I do not know whether or not this is a glitch but, it's annoying.

 

You are getting a false positive from an ad on the site. That is a common error; you should research around a bit before posting a thread like this.

 

Could that perhaps be where the download.gz file is coming from?

I'm sorry, I'm just very paranoid when it comes to these sort of things.

 

Don't lose sleep over it, it is harmless.

 

If you read it, it gives an IP address, which is directly related to gold4fun.com/ or gold4rs.


Its most definitely not where the download.gz is coming from.
