Coupon/Online Deals Code Sticky

A sticky for everyone to post working coupon codes would be great, especially in a section such as general discussion. I also think that because sythe is a more active community the codes posted would be more likely to work than those crappy old coupon sites where 90% of the codes don't work.

It also wouldn't have to be limited to coupons an online deal sticky would work too. Sometimes Best Buy might be selling that game you want for 50% off or new egg might be selling that cheap tablet you wanted.

Not sure which section would be best for the sticky but yeah, it would be useful!

 

Write the sticky and PM it to the appropriate section mod, or at least that is what I have been told when I suggested stickies for sections.

 

Not sure where this would go exactly, or how popular it would be. If it turned out to be popular then I'd support it.

 

I think this would be a great idea. As for a section, I would say the General/Off-Topic section would be the best. You should contact an off-topic mod/global and ask them if you can create the sticky.

These sorts of things normally go into a Freebies section of some sort. I don't think Sythe needs one of them though. Off-Topic General doesn't seem like the right spot for it either though. Maybe Community General?

Also, I think it's better you wait for a Moderator/Administrator to give approval before you make the thread and ask for it to be stickied. Cause if they don't agree with then you've just spent all of your time making a thread that won't be stickied.

I would support this, it would be helpful to the people who like to use this kind of thing.

It would also avoid all of those threads in general discussion that just end up getting closed anyways.

The members of Sythe post them. Say you find a code that can work unlimited times to get say cheaper shoes on a certain website, you can post it for the other members.

Just stick it in the donator's lounge. That's where I'm guessing it would go.

That could be done, but I could imagine that the Non-Donors would like to be able to see this official thread too. Besides, I don't think Coupons and Online Deals should be seen as something only Sythe Donors are allowed to see.

 

It could be seen as an extra perk for Sythe Donors. For example some codes may be limited to a certain amount of people, and it would be cool to have it as a bonus for donating.

 

That was an excellent idea. The site is very interesting and provides more tasks to satisfy the members of it. As you said there are many chances of doing spams by the unauthorized or unregistered members in the site. So, providing codes for the members of the site will be beneficial to the deal and also for the company. I would like to thank the members of the site for promoting the post which is very useful to many of us. Could you please provide some more attachment links for the detailed view of the rules and access of the site?

It would open opportunities for people to advertise, which is against site rules. Denied. If people want to advertise their gold sales, they can include coupons on their market thread.
