Inquiry about recent developments in botting

So I recently came back from a lengthy break and have noticed some talk about a wave of mass bans which recently occurred and a new "SIMBA" client.

Can someone fill me in- do nexus scripts still work/are they still safe?

 

NeXus: Broken as far as I know. The java bot swarms you see are private, not public. Simba is not new. Simba uses SRL. SRL originates back in the stone age. Simba scripts are free and open-source along with Simba itself.

 

Since when is this wave of mass bans?

 

Well RuneDream is expected to be the next RSBuddy and apparently the PB client is ready but they havent released anything.

 

Right now Simba/Scar and Rid is literally years ahead of other color bots.

RuneDream is just a start up color bots, it it does has potential. And once opengl comes out , Every bot will get it. But being java, rune dream might become the most used when that happens as it might beable to run more bots than others.

openGL is already being used mate.

 

Ye trilez has his own for his tribot. I meant for public which always usually came from moparisthebest unless JBot people can make their own private version.

 

Never heard of SIMBA, ill do my research, but i had some paid rsbots.net scripts now they dont work and i want my money back. hard to do so

 

Do you understand what openGL is? openGL is public however openGL intercepts that work with Java may not be.

I believe trilez had his gotten some good progress on his own opengl injection, rest of people like simba,scar and jbot are probably waiting off moparisthebest to finish their version.

 

openGL injection? Never heard of that. It's openGL interception. More development is actually being shown at rs-hacking.

PB are planning to release the client, that and some PREMIUM scripts are being beta tested at the moment. Yes, they are doing iDungPro type things

 

PB is waiting for what happens in the lawsuit, I thought.. They won't be releasing for awhile..

 

Jbot is the best one around now i think!

 

JBot only has one script, an ivy chopper using an static color. But it does have a lot of potential, but for now its a start up compare to others. ALthough it does use java which is easier on resource.

 

So hopefully this OpenGL interception thing will be up soon and hopefully jagex won't have a fix for it right away
