T-shirt designs - Vote up people!!

Look, I'm interested in publishing these designs. All i need is people's opinions whether they like or dislike the album, which will affect my decision on whether or not I approach a company with many more like these.

The 2nd shirt in each image is supposed to be the "back" image. Sorry for confusions

 

They look good Are you looking to get these printed and sell them? If so, you could also make seasonal novelty shirts with little puns to do with whatever's happening e.g. valentines day, easter, christmas

 

The first and last images are cool, they could work alright as t-shirts. I'm not a fan of t-shirts with the design covering the WHOLE shirt however. You could add some colour (like in the last) to the first one also.

Are you familiar with CMYK printing? It is the process that they usually use to print t-shirts. You can pretty much just use 3 -4 colors or else the prices are going to be outrageous and you won't make any profit. You should really re-think these designs and remember that simple designs are better. These aren't very well done either, you should work on the composition of the pieces and make them more interesting and less copypasta looking.

 

Yeah, I can tell some of these had very little thought go into them. Shirt #3 is like a screenshot from a game called "Cubefield" that he just put on a design. The rest are a little sloppy, and personally, wouldn't wear something that's a huge distraction. I do like #5 though, I'd wear it.

 

Also you must take into account copyright laws. If you try to use a copyrighted image then you can be sued, and probably will be.

I don't really like any of the other ones, the last t-shirts are like "hawaian" style. There are too many of those already, I haven't bought those in years lol .

 

I'd wear the same one prankz chose those are legit shirts all around but with all the colors on some it's not very realistic for profit.

I agree with Nero,, you should keep it to 4 colors max.. Theres a lot more to a t-shirt design than just making an artwork and placing it on a preview of a shirt
i got a few tips for you

1. Use illustrator
- Everything you make in illustrator is vectorized, that means you can expand everything and it won't loose quality

2. Convert your CMYK colors to PMS via Illustrator,, i found an helpful tutorial on how to convert them to PMS,, they are called pantone colors and it matches the fabric colors the best which is used in t-shirts,, this will make your design even better

3. Again illustrator,, try to vectorize everything,, for example if you have a picture,, you could vectorize it using illustrator.. by using pentool tracing everything and coloring it in (this is very difficult, takes lots of practice)

4. Try other t-shirt colors,, all your previews are white t-shirts,, you could be amazed on how better your design looks on other color t-shirts


These are my tips basically,, your design are ok, but for a t-shirt deisign?.. no
these would look better as an actuall large piece

A good tshirt is simple and effective, but this is like pasting a forum sig on a piece of cloth. Go for something simple and effective over something complicated and expensive.
